4 Sexy Lip Colors

I can’t believe we’re on the last week of January already. It feels like just yesterday I was writing my New Years post, and now I’m sitting here sharing Valentines Day tips with you guys while Chloe is sleeping in her nursery. So far, motherhood has been challenging (I haven’t been getting that much sleep) but incredibly fulfilling. Thank you everyone for all your support so far!

I want to start off this week by sharing with you guys today one thing that often gets overlooked on Valentines Day… your lip color. Having the perfect lip color is one of those things that can make or break your look. Instead of defaulting to that one color that you always use, spice up your look this Valentines Day with these 4 sexy colors! The focus of your look will definitely be on your lips that night.. and you know what they say, your lips are the windows to your heart.

1. Classic Red

This lip color should be in every girl’s make-up bag. When in doubt, go red because the Classic Red is the most sexy lip of all time! (Think Marilyn Monroe .. Taylor Swift.) I love sporting a red lip when I want to look sophisticated and classy, and especially during Valentines Day .. super sexy!

Lipstick: Charlotte Tilbury ‘K.I.S.S.I.N.G’ in Love Bite

2. Sweet Pink

I love a good pink lip! It’s one of my favorite everyday lip colors. A pink lip can warm up your complexion and bring out the pink in your cheeks too. But this Valentines Day, adopt a brighter and more fun shade of pink for a sweet and sexy look.

Lipstick: YSL  Rouge Pur in Pink Celebration

3. Sultry Violet

In my post earlier this fall, I shared with you guys that a dark lip is perfect for adding mystery and drama to your look. Bring back the dark lip for a daring night out! A dark lip can also bring out your darker features (like your eyes), so definitely line them with a dark eyeliner or a black mascara.

Lipstick: Estee Lauder Pure Color in Exotic Orchid

4. Ombre Red-Orange

Ombre lips has always been a little too much for me, but I love the idea of an ombre red-orange that fades into nude! While Classic Red is incredibly sophisticated, Red-Orange like is definitely the fun-loving & wilder side of red. Using this color makes your lips look stained in a very sexy way.

And there you have it, 4 sexy lip colors to try this Valentines Day! Which lip color did you love the most?

I love the red one for V’s day! It’s classy, sexy and unusual for me who wears pink almost everyday. I’d like to try sth dark (not violet I don’t think its my color) like dark (bloody) red. Umbre is too much for me too and also I don’t think I can achieve it :/
