Hi loves! Bringing you the second edition of Trends to Try .. Stripes! Stripes can be tricky because they don’t compliment every body type.. But I really recommend you guys to try incorporating thin stripes into your closet this season because they’re so sophisticated and timeless. When it comes to prints.. stripes is such a staple pattern that you should have at least one striped piece in your closet. It can be a great statement piece to wear when you need a dose of confidence!
Here are 3 pieces I’m currently coveting !
1. The Striped Trench Coat
I love that this striped trench. It perfect for meetings or even to a dinner because it’s thin and versatile enough to make sense in any setting. For trenchcoats I tend to gravitate toward coats that I can tie in the back so I can adjust how it fits around my frame. The thin stripes can compliment most body types and it’ll make a great piece for in and out of work!

2. Striped Jumpsuit
I can’t wait to wear this jumpsuit out! (Once I finally get out of the house that is ..) I love everything about this dark navy and white jumpsuit (I thought it was black at first!)! The plunging v-neck might be a little too bold to wear around the office, but I can definitely see this at a chic Sunday brunch or on a date. For my more petite readers, this jumpsuit is great for helping to elongate your shape since the hemline is so low. And of course the thin stripes help to make anyone who wears it with mile long legs!
Jumpsuit: Faithful The Brand| Bag: CHC | Shoes: Kurt Geiger (Similar one HERE)
3. Striped Match Sets
I love matching sets because they’re so effortless and chic. I especially love how flared and structured this high waisted skirt is because it instantly adds a very flattering shape to your silhouette. And the little bit of belly is modest enough to still be discreet and sophisticated. Matching sets can be tricking because they can easily come off as too cheesy, but I absolutely adore this!
And there you have it, the trend to try for this week… stripes! Take a chance this year and treat yourself to something bold! Which one is your favorite?

I’m not usually a stripes person but I love the pin stripe pants and since I’m an androgynous kind of girl, I’ll be giving this a try in a male cut pair.
