The 3 Trends I'm Bringing into 2019
Since I’m officially off of maternity leave, I’m so excited to start wearing non-maternity clothes again…you don’t even know!
It’s like I’ve been shopping in my closet these last few weeks! Of course, I still have my postpartum body (which I talked about a little bit on this IG post here) so I’ve been steering away from certain silhouettes. Luckily, some of my favorite trends that I’m bringing into 2019 are super flattering- no matter what your body type is!
Keep scrolling to check out what trends I’m taking with me into 2019.
Dress: Balmain (Similar Here) | Bag: Balmain (Similar Here) |Boots: Balmain (Similar Here) | Turtleneck: Topshop
Layering Turtlenecks & 80’s Silhouettes
I know layering dresses and turtlenecks have been around for a minute now, but it’s not going anywhere (at least for me it’s not)! It’s the best option for those low v-dresses and chillier weather. This dress from Balmain is everything, but when I tried it on minus the turtleneck originally, the cleavage was intense and it’s still quite chilly out! Layering the turtleneck underneath gave the dress a whole different look.
80’s silhouettes were all over Instagram and the runways last year and I’m actually so in love with the comeback looks. I love the strong shape it gives you, and it’s a fun look to play around with when it comes to proportions! This look, in particular, is great because it has the pronounced shoulders but since it’s a mini dress- it all out!
Hat: Janessa Leone | Dress: Chloe (Similar Here) | Bag: Chloe | Necklace: Chloe (Similar Here) | Boots: Balmain (Similar Here)
Maxi Dresses & Boots

Dress: Longchamp (Similar Here) | Scarf: Longchamp (Similar Here) | Boots: Balmain (Similar Here) | Hoops: BYCHARI
Handkerchief Print
Calling it now- this print is going to be everywhere this year! I just love how classic and timeless it is. You guys know I’ve been in love with silk scarves for ages now- wearing them around my head like this post here or in my hair like I’m wearing above- so seeing classic scarf prints all over the runway was so exciting!
Which trend is your current favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

[…] As I mentioned in the video, I’m really loving scarf prints! This chain-print dress is so gorgeous and perfect for summer. I love the flowy silhouette and cinched waist, which will be flattering on everyone! The colors and the print are totally classic and I can’t get enough. Remember when I had a head-to-toe scarf print moment earlier this year in a full Longchamp look. […]

You styled all these trends in such beautiful ways. The first dress looks so much more interesting over the turtleneck and I love the look of a maxi dress and boots.

Never going back to 80’s shoulder pads. I adore the scarf prints though.

I can’t decide between layering turtleknecks and maxi dresses with boots. Both are so chic. I’ve been styling my dresses with chunky sneakers because sometimes I’m just too lazy to wear heels all day. I’m loving thses looks. It’s also nice to read that you’re bringing in your own trend and not following what’s already trendy. x
