It’s been a while since we did a good old-fashioned OOTD here on The Chriselle Factor, but I really wanted to share what I wore to the office the other day!
It’s been a really interesting time for me as I’m only a couple weeks away from giving birth, and as my belly is continuously growing, it’s becoming more and more difficult to find clothes that actually fit and make me feel comfortable. Plus, now that it’s September, I’ve been wanting to wear so many fall pieces, too but sadly, the warm weather in LA isn’t exactly agreeing with me.
So, I found the perfect it’s-still-hot-out-but-I-want-
Trench Coat
So the first thing I reached for is this trench coat from Designers Remix. A trench can instantly make any outfit look city chic and is a total closet staple for fall. They tend to be on the lighter in weight, so they’re perfect for layering as it gets colder, or for the times when you need to throw something on for the breezier, more chilly days.
Wrap Dress
I know I mentioned that I barely have any maternity pieces and that one of my goals was to only wear non-maternity pieces as much as I could throughout my pregnancy, but I can’t lie to you guys- it got hard. I picked up this dress from Isabella Oliver and it’s been such a lifesaver! I already love polka dots, but what makes this dress so fantastic is how stretchy the material is!
Boots
Boots are obviously my love and obsession, and I wish I could wear them all year round! I got this pair years ago from Frieda Salvador and they’re the perfect everyday black boot. The lace up is super chic and the block heel gives me the height I want without compromising the comfort that I need.
Accessories
You guys know how much I love purses, so when I saw this Oscar de la Renta Albi mini top-handle bag on the runway last season, I knew I wanted to get my hands on it! It has such a fun shape to it and adds such a fun whimsical and quirky look! It comes in tons of different colors and fabrics so you can find one that works perfectly for your style. I think it’s safe to say that boxy bags are going to be huge this season!

I love your pretty fall look. Polka dots are such a fun print and the dress works so well with the rest of the outfit.

Thanks Yumi! xo
Great post and outfit! I agree that a trench coat is such a quality piece to own, and it’s same for us here in the Ozarks. Summer heat and no signs of fall. And I hope your delivery goes well!

It’s such a great investment piece! xo
I live in Atlanta and we have the same issue: not breezy/cool yet! I think I will be living in summer at least until October comes. It has been so strange seeing everyone on the internet transition to fall and being here in tshirts
Right? I’m getting cold weather FOMO! Lol xo
I cannot live without wrap dresses – they are my closet must have!
