The Best Undergarments for Your NYE Outfit

All the best outfits have one thing in common- the best undergarments! You guys loved my post about the best undergarments to wear with backless tops (check it out here!) so I wanted to talk to you guys about the undergarments that I wore for this particular look in London. I couldn’t tell you the amount of DM’s and texts I got asking about this dress, but I got even more asking about the bra and underwear!

With see-through dresses, tops and skirts being super in this season- it begs the question: what are the best pieces to wear underneath? So I found some of the best undergarments to wear for your NYE Outfit.

I know, I know, on an average day you’re probably not going to walk out of the house in a sheer dress and “granny panties,” but hear me out. High-waisted underwear like these really help to hold everything in, if you know what I’m saying. So if they’re being seen or under your holiday dress- it acts as shapewear, but the sexy version!

For the underwear, I’m wearing a size F34, which basically is a 0 and I’m not going to lie- it was pretty tight. I feel like I could have gone with a size up, but remember: shapewear is supposed to be small and stretchy! It was a little uncomfortable at first but I got used to it pretty quickly.

Another tip I figured out the hard way (don’t laugh) is to wear some normal underwear under the shapewear! Might be TMI, but I totally forgot and wore the black panties as my underwear. Not the comfiest.
