Not Your Mom's Jeans

How do you guys feel about the term“mom jeans?”  Are they a YES or a NO for you?  For me, they’re a total Y-E-S.  Mom jeans tend to generally have a bad rep, but honestly, I can’t get enough of them! Once upon a time, everyone avoided mom jeans like the plague, but it just goes to show you that when it comes to fashion, you should never say never and sometime’s it’s just about how you style it! This light wash pair in particular hit all of my requirements for the perfect pair of jeans.

1. They’re Stretchy

This pair is comfortable to be in all day and they don’t end up sagging and getting stretched out after a long day. When you’re sitting in your car in that glorious LA traffic, running after Chloe, and walking around Downtown LA, finding a pair of jeans that fit like a glove and move with you is a total must.

2. The Wash Goes with Everything

I love a pair of dark wash jeans as much as the next girl, but finding the perfect light denim wash is the perfect way to usher into Spring! This wash is almost like a neutral pop of color adding a casual cool vibe to anything from a camel sweater to a button-down!

3. They’re High-Waisted

High-waisted anything is an automatic win for me. From jeans like these to trousers, to bathing suit bottoms, to workout leggings, nothing makes me feel more confident than a high-waist. They’re great for giving the illusion of longer legs and cinching in your waistline. Another added bonus: they give your booty an instant lift!
