It’s been a while since I wore a good monochromatic look and this one just might take the cake! I fell in love with this navy blue knit (similar here!) with exaggerated sleeves and paired it with some navy blue velvet pants (like these) and had a little bit of lace peeking out. This look felt equally romantic, chic and strong! A monochromatic look is the best excuse to mix textures and play with proportions.
I decided to balance out the femininity of the lace blouse with the navy trousers and sweater but kept it strong and sleek with my structured bag and black pumps. I finished off the look with a simple and clean makeup and some statement earrings and was ready to take on the day!
PS: I’ve got some amazing news. The #CINCTeam and I are getting ready to relaunch the emailer, and we’ve got so much fun stuff coming your way. Trust me you’re going to LOVE it! If you haven’t signed up yet, do it now, and be sure to let me know what you want to see more of in the comments down below!

Navy is gorgeous! There is just something about that color that feels luxurious. And I like the little peek of lace.
