Telling you that a good leather jacket (faux or real!) is a wardrobe essential is almost like telling you the sky is blue. It’s obvious! So if you don’t have one yet, it’s definitely worth the investment. (Or if you’re a baller on a budget right now, check this one out for under $100.00!) As much as I love the classics, I’ve been seeing a lot of updated moto jackets everywhere! My favorite versions are the ones that combine textures, like leather and fur or leather and sheerling. I swear, no matter how many leather jackets I seem to have, season after season I’m always itching for another one!
The one I’m wearing above (similar here) was the perfect piece of outerwear for Couture week. While statement coats (like this one and this one) were my go-to, this super cool moto jacket paired with some chic jeans and my favorite Jimmy Choo heels it made for a great Parisian look. And when in doubt, wearing all black is a great way to instantly look chic and put together. The weather was super warm at the time, and I loved how cool my outfit looked all zipped up! It almost felt like armor… making me feel strong and confident.
