I’ve been seeing embroidered pieces everywhere these days and it’s safe to say that this trend is here to stay. From something as cool and intricate as this moto jacket, or something as simple as the sweater I’m wearing above, I can’t get enough of it! I got this sweater which has ‘Paris est une fête’ (Paris is a feast) embroidered in red (I also love this similar one here!) and I love the little pop of color it gives to an otherwise plain sweater.

I paired the sweater with some crazy amazing high-waisted flare pants (similar here) that made me feel 10-feet tall. Remember! When you combine a high waist + wide leg + some killer heels = you’ll get instant height. Not to mention the full black-on-black combo really helps to create a long line visually. I threw on a chic neck-scarf (like this one) to give my look that “French girl je ne sais quoi” and added my red bag to complete the look.

If you want the same kind of look, but aren’t down for wearing heels all day, get your pants hemmed properly tailored.
