My video “Change Destiny” went up yesterday and I’m incredibly honored to have had the amazing feedback from all of you guys. I’m currently still going through all your comments & emails about it but I’m so overwhelmed by all your support!
When my team and I originally conceptualized the topic for this shoot, we weren’t sure exactly which topic to focus on. Sure, we can focus on my role as a driven career woman or happy mother .. but I feel like sometimes it’s the hard parts of life that defines you the most.
If you guys follow me on snapchat (@chrisellelim) you might remember that my team and I took a trip out to sunstone winery last week for this shoot. It was pretty last minute but thank you so so much to my amazing friend Anna for having us! Sunstone winery is so beautiful in the morning (as you guys can tell from the video) and our whole team woke up at 4am to shoot before the sun rose. It’s not too far of a drive from LA but for a moment I was just lost in how beautifully scenic it all was! & I’m very thankful I had this wool cardigan with me because you might not be able to tell .. but it was so cold! & while this pink lace dress is perfect for shooting, it certainly didn’t keep me warm. It was such a crazy two days but we all had SO much fun getting through it together to bring you this video. & it makes all our hard work all worth it to see all the positive feedback so far!
Thank you once again for all your support and kind words! It was difficult to open up old wounds and talk about my miscarriage but I firmly believe that together we can change destiny!

I wanted to thank you for sharing your miscarriage story and heartbreak with us. I just had a miscarriage and D&C done last week. My story is similar to yours — I suddenly had excruciating cramps and pain in my abdomen and had to rush to the ER. I couldn’t even walk. Everything happened so quickly and we were devastated. Physically I am all healed already but emotionally it’s been a roller coaster. I find myself sadly touching my now flat stomach and wishing everything was a bad dream I’ll wake up from. I hope we will be as fortunate as you and be blessed with a beautiful baby soon. Thank you again. XO -N
