I have to admit, I struggle with my hair! Because it’s thick and hard to manage, I find myself often straightening my hair in the mornings to get it to look like it does! So I love using whatever products I can to make it soft and silky .. and even though there are products out there that helps to smooth out my hair, there are some great organic hair masks that I’ve used that work just as great! Here are 3 that are incredibly easy to make! We all deserve a little pampering sometimes, and here are 3 easy ways for your hair to get some love!
1. Honey & Milk Mask
Directions: Microwave the milk so it’s warm, and stir in the honey until it melts
This is a very nourishing hair mask! & it’s actually a great mask for damaged hair. Use fat milk for coarse hair & skim milk for fine hair. The fat in the milk & honey helps to soften and nourish your hair! Leave this mask on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with shampoo as you would normally.
2. Strawberry Mask
Directions: Blend ingredients together, leave on for 20-30 minutes
This hair mask is my favorite because it makes your hair smell DELICIOUS after. (Depending on how long you leave it in of course!) This hair mask looks almost too delicious to not eat, but of course that wouldn’t be too good because of the egg yolk hah. This hair mask is easy and very pretty to make. Try wearing a shower cap to keep the strawberries in your hair for the entire time!
3. Honey Avocado Mask
Directions: Mix ingredients, smash avocado & stir well
This hair mask is amazing. It gives my hair shine and makes it soft after, just like new! The only thing is that it can be a bit oily so shampoo twice if you feel you added too much oil for your hair. Leave it in your hair for 20 minutes and rinse well! (And don’t be surprised when your hair is super shiny and soft.)
Voila! 3 hair masks to leave your hair super shiny and soft. Which one will you guys be trying at home?

Chriselle,
Ever since you’ve had Chloe (well pregnant really) you have REALLY enhanced the quality of this blog. You’ve opened up to is. Shared personal stories and now you give us great lifestyle tips any of us can relate to and try at home. I love the DIY aspect of your blog. And it amazes me that you still post a lot and entertain your readers even after you had your baby. Kudos to you and much success to you and your family. 🙂

Hi Chriselle, will these masks work for even those who have kinky, natural hair? I’m pure African and have really dense hair with tight curls in it.
