Summer is pretty much here (the official first day of summer is next week!) so I’m really excited to share my top 3 swimsuits that you can easily wear on the beach or on the street. Being able to style a beach appropriate look that also works for grabbing a bite to eat afterward is the best way to double any summer wardrobe.
So, whether you end up at the beach or poolside, I styled 3 amazing summer looks that are 100% Insta-worthy.
Look 1: Seeing Spots
How cute is this polka dot bikini? I paired this Lisa Marie suit with this high-waisted skirt for the perfect beach look. The ruffled bikini top doubles perfectly as a crop top when paired with a high waisted skirt (similar here)! And the skirt works as a super chic cover-up which can easily transition from the beach to the streets! I threw on some statement hoops and the coolest sunglasses ever to finish off the outfit.
Look 2: The best way to Show off your Stripes
I have a strange feeling that I’m going to be wearing these striped trousers all summer. Besides being super comfortable and flattering, they’re just as chic at the beach as they are anywhere else! Plus, this bikini top (which almost looks like its denim) doesn’t look like a bikini top at all! All I have to do is throw on some cat-eye sunglasses, a cute wicker bag and some cute slides and I can go straight from the Farmer’s Market to the beach!
Look 3: One-Piece Wonder
You’ve heard of double duty pieces, but how about triple duty? Let me introduce you (or reintroduce you) to the classic linen button down. I can wear it as a cover-up over my one piece Eres suit, I can button it up and use it as a shirt dress or I can throw on some jeans do a half tuck and I’ve got the perfect oversized chic top! Is there anything truly more multifunctional than the button down? No. Throw on some super chic slides and a sun hat (UV rays are real you guys, even on overcast days. Make sure you’re wearing sunscreen too!) and I’m good to go for a relaxing day on the beach!
