My Color of the Season

Graphic tees can get a bad rep sometimes, but I’m really loving them this season! They’re usually looked at as being too young or juvenile, but with the right kind of styling, they can look positively chic. This bright red ‘Cherry Bomb’ tee would be super cute and casual with a pair of jeans but pairing it with a multi-colored midi-skirt (like this one here) gives it a whole new vibe! Not to mention, I’m pretty sure red is my new color of the seasonHave you noticed Ive been wearing this color a lot lately?

I don’t know what it is, but something about the juxtaposition of the dressiness of a midi-skirt paired with the casual-coolness of the tee makes for the perfect outfit! To finish it off, I threw on my favorite white block heels and some chic sunnies (like these) and I was ready to hit the town!

PS: See this look come to life and some of my other favorite spring trends in action HERE!

Do you guys think youll be rocking a graphic tee soon? Let me know in the comments below!  I picked some of my favorites and linked them throughout the post so be sure to check them out! Happy Monday!

  • It’s funny, because I actually JUST bought a graphic tee online and I was thinking to myself how different it can look paired with the right elements. Yes, some can look cheap and juvenile, but some can make a very cool statement when styled properly. I just can’t wait to get mine in, and, like you, I’m planning on pairing it with more “classic” elements to convey a powerful contrast.

    Much love <3
