Currently Obsessed: Acne Trench

You might remember me talking about this amazing Acne trench coat in this post about my ideal everyday Parisian look. I had been eyeing it for AGES before I finally pulled the trigger on it and bought it with me to Paris Fashion Week. As opposed to the classic trench coat, which is a total wardrobe must-have, this trench is long, flowy and oversized. It’s cut so perfectly that it gives a really relaxed and laid back vibe to any outfit I wear with it. In Paris, I wore it with culottes, a low block heel, and a comfy sweater but I love how it adds a dramatic and feminine effect to just a cool shirt, jeans, and pumps outfit! It just goes to show you that even the most simple element can make a huge impact to your look! I found that I really love splurging on elevated basics.

Another perk of this trench is that it’s made of a lighter fabric than the traditional trench, which means it’s perfect for layering and breaking out in transitional weather. A win-win!
