I’m super excited to announce that I partnered with Viktor & Rolf this couture season! It was such an incredible experience to see everything come to life. We were invited by the designers to view the collection the day before it hit the runway, which rarely ever happens in the fashion world. Being able to witness all of the hard work and craftsmanship that happens right before the show was very inspiring. We saw the seamstresses diligently working on the intricate pieces, it was truly art in every form! This collection was definitely different than any other show I saw on the runway. I loved how conceptual the pieces was, and it made me appreciate Cubism so much more.
It’s safe to say the collection was more than just fashion, it was walking sculptures. What I though was unique was the decision to make the collection entirely white. It really allowed me to focus on the shapes and architecture of the pieces more than anything else. I think the concept of modern Cubism in fashion is completely innovative and forward thinking as we are moving toward more structural pieces in ready to wear as well. The show was amazing and eerily beautiful, and I absolutely loved that they played Radiohead as one of their songs. I’m so thankful I was able to see this beautiful show from start to finish!

wow, I agree, this truly is art. I love seeing couture shows because they are always so extravagant and make statements. I think this show just proves how fashion is definitely a form of art in every way. It is a great creative outlet that I cant wait to watch in person one day.
