Backstage at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

This year marks the 4th Victoria’s Secret Fashion show I’ve been to. I still remember how excited I was when I received the invitation to my first show. Fast forward a few years and my excitement level is just as much as that first time. I love how VS changes their performances and production each year, so it’s like I’m watching it for the first time each time! With the rise of the digital models, like Kendall & Gigi, there was a new kind of hype surrounding this year’s show. It’s so great to see new faces, as well as the O.G Victoria’s Secret models like Adriana Lima & Alessandra Ambrossio. When I think of VS, I think of the the incredible legacy these models have, and how exciting it is to watch the rise of new models.

Victoria’s Secret is quite strict about posting on social media during the show, since it’s not live. So I’m so excited to finally share these photos with you from backstage before the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show! I got to meet the gorgeous Gigi Hadid for the first time, and I was so excited to be able to chat with her. I think it’s safe to say that she’s the nicest and most sincere model that I’ve met so far. We talked like we were old friends! I was also reunited with my old friend Barbera Fialho. We became friends when she walked her first show a few years ago, & we hadn’t seen each other for ages! It was so great to hang out with her and catch up before the show.

The show itself was amazing (as always). When choosing what to wear, I opted for something simple. In my opinion, there’s nothing more sexy than an understated dress. This dress by Joseph is a gorgeous white shift dress with the daintiest straps and a low plunging back. Because it was cold in NY while I was there, I paired it with an over sized structured blazer to dress it up a bit. Naturally I went all white. It’s funny how for certain events I always wear something within the same color palette, just with a different silhouette.

The show airs tonight on CBS at 10/9C and I’m so excited for you guys to watch it! Not only were the outfits just mesmerizing, but the performances were insane! (My favorite was the Weeknd!) Happy Watching!
