The Moisturizers Saving our Stressed Out Skin

In one form or another, we’re all proabably dealing with some type of stress at the moment and the LAST thing we want right now is for our skin to be breaking out on top it.

With that said, it’s probably time for a new face cream or moisturizer, right?

Since we’re at home more than ever now, the one thing that the team has being doing religiously is their skincare routine as an act of self-care. We are all beauty enuthusiasts, after all….

Having moisturized skin is one thing. Having a moisturizer that works harder for you is another. Not only does your skin look its best, but it also feels it’s best which is something we learned very early on to never take for granted.

So, whether you’re looking for a lightweight moisturizer, a luxe one, a super-hydrating one, or a cooling cream – here are our top moisturizers that are saving our skin from looking and being stressed out, too.

A few of our favorite, luxurious creams that are nonsticky and leave us feeling hydrated and moisturized.

Dr. Dennis Gross Collagen Cream

This collagen cream smells so good! It feels lightweight, absorbs quickly in the skin and is perfect for warmer temperatures. It has a ton of Vitamin C in it which helps even out your skin tone, fine lines, and dark spots. Your skin will be super dewy and glowy after you put this one. We love using this one at night.

Tata Harper’s Créme Riche

Tata Harper’s Créme Riche cream is a great one for those into more natural skincare. Since everything is made on their own farm in Vermont, you know that this is as clean as it gets! This one, in particular, is great for drier skin types as it is extremely hydrating and full of peptides.

Augustinus Bader’s Body Cream

You all know how much we’re obsessed with the face cream, so naturally, we fell in love with Augustinus Bader’s Body Cream. Using stem cell technology, this body cream feels like whipped butter for your skin. It’s insanely hydrating, melts into your skin, has anti-aging properties and leaves your body feeling extremely moisturized with a little shine. At $165, it’s quite pricey for a body cream, but worth it if you’re looking to really pamper yourself right now from head-to-toe. After all, you’ve been doing so well with those at-home workouts!

La Mer’s Moisturizing Cool Gel

This is the gel moisturizer of our dreams and looks quite beautiful on the vanity if we do say so ourselves. It’s extremely lightweight, soothing, cooling, and calming. It’s especially great during the spring and summer when things tend to get a bit more humid out. Ideal for normal, oily, and combination skin – once we tried this, we realized the hype is 100% real and worth it.

Moon Juice’s Cosmic Cream

Our Editorial Director Jane is obsessed with all things Moon Juice and swears that their Super You is getting her through quarantine. This cosmic cream by them feels super silky, is full of adaptogens, and instantly plumps your skin. We like using this as our night cream to wake up with extremely refreshed skin.

Another thing we like to do is multi-mositurize where we have different moisturizers to target different areas of our skin.
