Our AM + PM Skincare Routines – Different Skin Types
Every single one of us on the CINCteam has a different skincare routine, and different skin types as well!
Since skincare is not one size fits all, we (Jane, Hannah, and Chriselle) decided to share our AM + PM skincare routines! Even with different skin types, budgets, and problem areas – we all want the same thing: clear, healthy, plump, and radiant skin!

Skin Type: Combination Anti-Aging
I don’t really do that much in the mornings. Right when I get up, I roll my face with something cold like a face roller to get all the bloating out.
Next, I’ll go in with water- no cleanser as I don’t want to wipe off all my skincare product from the night before off.
I always, always double cleanse at night.
I start with my tried and true Shu Uemura Oil first to get any makeup and oil off. Then, I’ll use the Goop G TOX Cleanser that’s been really good for my skin- you might remember me talking about it here!
After I’m done cleansing, I’ll use the G TOX Pore Refining Tonic I use every day which is really good for my combination skin.
Then, I’ll put on the iS Clinical Active Serum which feels super light and refreshing.
Once my skin absorbs the serum, I’ll add the Le Creme from Cle De Peau. I love sleeping in this night cream because it feels like I have a sleeping mask on. You wake up with really hydrated skin that’s why I don’t like to wash my skincare off in the mornings.
Other things I do:
Skin Type: Sensitive, Combination
I’ll usually head to the gym right when I wake up to get a workout in so I just put some micellar water over my eyes to get the eye crust off.
Once I’m back home, I’ll take a shower and use my True Botanicals Hydrating Cleanser that smells so, so good and has willow bark in it which is a natural version of salicylic acid.
After that, I’ll use a toner on my T Zone and chin. Right now, I’m using the True Botanicals Clear Nutrient one that I’m almost out of.
Then, I mist, mist, mist with my CosMedix Mystic face mist. This smells so good and it calms down any inflammation I have on my skin while hydrating it. It also is nice as a base before you put your on your serums and creams.
Then comes the serums. I’ve been layering my Tata Harper Serum on first, then I add on a Hyaluronic Serum, Anti-Pollution Serum, iS Clinical Active Serum and the iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum – this one is super cooling and refreshing.
After I have all my serums on, I’ll massage my Dr. Barbara Sturm eye cream on for the morning, and work the cream all the way up to my hairline. For my evening routine, I’ll switch to my Algenist Genius Ultimate Anti-Aging Eye Cream one since it’s thicker.
Afterward, I’ll put on my Augustinus Bader Cream all over my face (which is truly a gamechanger for anyone wondering) and then I’ll mist on my SuperGoop! SPF Defense Refresh Spray and be on with my day. I know this seems like a lot but it really only takes me 3 minutes or so to put on.
I’m always so exhausted by the time I should be washing up. I know this is so bad of me but I love falling asleep on the couch while watching a show (lol). This is a bad habit I picked up from my mom.
Once I wake up from my pre-bedtime nap, I’ll slowly walk to the bathroom and use an oil cleanser to get off all the makeup, dirt, and oil from my skin. Sidenote: I’ve been really trying to change more of my makeup and skincare to more clean and natural products that don’t make me feel bad that I had it on my skin all day.
After I use the oil cleanser, I’ll use my Detox Cleanser from Tata Harper. I like how this one smells and it feels like it’s getting more pores super clean and actually feels a bit tingly. I’ll also use my Foreo with it if I’m not feeling lazy and if I’m feeling super ambitious, I’ll triple cleanse with my Tatcha Enzyme Cleanser. ICYMI – read all about enzyme cleansers here.
Afterward, I’ll use a toner again and then add my Royal Fern Essence that I try and leave on for at least 10 minutes.
Then, I’ll add my eye cream on and layer my “cocktail serums” depending on how my day was/how naughty I was.
I’ll pat on a Super Anti-Aging Serum or Calming Serum, my Versed Firming Serum, and my Dr. Lancer Retexturizing Cream. To finish up my routine, I’ll end with a collagen-rich cream and oil and hit the hay.
Skin Type: Normal, Oily
My first step in the mornings is to cleanse. Currently, I’ve been using this Cle Oxygen Foaming Cleanser… it’s actually the 2nd bottle I’ve gone through!
After I cleanse, I grab this spray from Tower28. This is a new addition to my routine but holy moly this stuff is amazing! I’m actually almost out of it and I need a new one asap.
Then I go in with my Versed Clarifying serum which I’ve preached about multiple times (here and here) and the Versed Under Eye Mask which helps me get rid of the crazy undereye bags I have every morning when I wake up regardless of the amount of sleep I’ve gotten.
To finish off my morning routine, I’ll grab my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream! I love that it has a little bit of SPF in it as well as a lot of moisture.
I double cleanse at night, which is something I learned from the one and only Chriselle Lim. I use a combo of the Go-To Foaming cleanser and some Kiehl’s Micellar Water to get all my makeup off. Then I go in with the Tower28 Spray!
My next step is to use a cotton round and very gently pat some Glossier Solution on my t-zone and my chin, which is where I see most of my breakouts.
Once the Solution has soaked in, I’ll pat in the Versed Serum and the Cle Cosmedics Vitamin C Serum then go in with the amazing Cosmedix Eye Cream which I also talked about in my Minimal Skincare routine, here!
To finish it all off, I’ve been using the Augustinus Bader ‘The Cream’! I won’t lie, I was skeptical about it first, but my skin has never looked better!
