On the Go Beauty -My 3 Product Makeup Routine
I’m on the go a LOT. Trying to balance a couple businesses, two kids, a hubby, a puppy, and then some means that sometimes, I don’t get a chance to sit down and do my full makeup routine, so instead, I’ll grab a few products that I know I can throw on in less than 5 minutes and get a fresh face!
Keep scrolling to check out the 3 products I grab when I’m on the go!
So in the photo below, I’m totally fresh-faced. As you guys know by now, I’m a huge believer that good skincare is the best foundation (check out my Holy Grail skincare here!) so anything I add is just a way to enhance my features.
Product One – The Concealer
I’ve been using Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer since it came out and if you haven’t seen my YouTube video about it yet, you can check it out! It’s definitely more full-coverage, but it’s super easy to work with and a great base. If it feels a little too thick, sometimes I mix it with a little bit of serum or moisturizer in it! What I love about it is that it’s dewy enough to blend into my skin and give a natural look but matte enough to cover any blemishes or discoloration without looking or feeling heavy.
Whenever I put on concealer, I always make sure to work from my t-zone outwards and gently blend out to the rest of my face with my fingers. If certain spots need a little more love, I’ll dot a little bit more of the product on my blemishes and blend!
Check out the ‘after’ below!
Step Two: Blush
You’ve probably seen me talk about this Whipped Powder Blush from Shiseido before- but I seriously love it! Since the product has a whipped texture, it makes it super easy to blend and build up to the intensity that you want it to be. For this look, I stretched the blush to be a lip tint and an eye shadow! It gave me a gorgeous wash of color that really brightened and woke my face up!
It’s crazy how adding just a little bit of color to your cheeks and lips can totally transform your look! Another multi-product I love is this blush stick from Chanel!
Step 3 – Mascara
My final step is to use some of this Hourglass Caution mascara! This mascara is an office favorite, and I love how it lengthens and adds volume to my lashes without looking too clumpy- and it stays on all day! Check out the photo below to see the before and after! Talk about lash definition 😉
Pro Tip: if you have darker eyebrows and need a little definition in a pinch, you can lightly brush your brows to shape them with your mascara. Emphasis on lightly, though!
And voilá! What do you guys think of the finished look? Just a little flush of color can go a long way.
