Investment Pieces Worth the Splurge

The best investment pieces are the ones that you can wear for years to come. I know it might seem crazy to drop a lot of money on just one thing, but a good investment piece is worth the splurge. They’re timeless, classic, and can be reworked to fit any look and any outfit.

Better quality and better cost-per-wear are also great reasons to invest. Not to mention the sustainability factor, too! Buying fewer pieces that you really love as opposed to a bunch of fast-fashion purchases that don’t hold up over time or go out of style in a few months is better for the environment.

The investment pieces in this post aren’t all brand new. I’ve had some of them for months now and have broken them in. I always find myself coming back to them, and since they’re such classic pieces I know I’ll continue to style and rock them.

ACCESSORIES

When it comes to accessories, I always find myself gravitating towards leathers and neutrals. While I love using my accessories to incorporate a pop of color or a fun statement piece – no wardrobe is complete without some classics.

CLOTHING

For investment pieces in clothing, there’s a bit more of a spectrum when it comes to a price point. I’ve found some really incredible pieces for under $200 that I’ve worn like crazy. Then again, some of the splurges I’ve made on some of my favorite coats are a little bit more than $200.

JEWELRY

Last week, I shared all of my current favorite jewelry trends, and to be honest, a lot of them are pieces I’ve had for years now. A little bling can go a long way, and finding pieces that you really LOVE are some of the best investments you can make! It’s always nice to build your jewelry versus buying everything all at once.
