It’s time to talk about some standout products that should be on your radar.
Some are beauty items, some skincare, but all AMAZING. I really wanted to put this post together to talk to you all about the products that have totally caught my attention in the past month or so. Anytime I come across something that’s sparked my interest, I always get the CINCteam’s opinion on it. It’s like the sisterhood of the traveling products! While my worth the money favorites are on a different level, these products have taken me by surprise and I’ve really enjoyed using them. Who knows, maybe some of them will end up in next month’s Worth the $$ post!
I have to admit, my bathroom counters have been looking anything but organized these days, but it’s the best way for me to remember to test and try new products by laying everything out to see! Out of sight out of mind is a real thing for me when it comes to products, so having a visual of everything I’ve been wanting to try has really helped me.
Keep scrolling to check the beauty and skincare products that should be on your radar:
SKINCARE
Versed Vacation Eyes Brightening Eye Gel
You all have probably heard of Versed by now… the *affordable* skincare brand from the people who brought you WhoWhatWear! I was so excited to try out their products and can confirm I’ve fallen in love with them. The Brightening Eye Gel, for example, totally took me by surprise. This little yellow bottle is cooling and brightening, formulated with Vitamin C, ginseng root extract, niacinamide, and coffee seed extract to help with dark circles and eye bags.
KORA ORGANICS Noni Bright Vitamin C Serum
Another current Vitamin C favorite is from KORA, which you might remember me talking about in this post here! This lightweight serum has found its way into my skincare routine and I’ve really been enjoying it! It has Vitamin C Superfruit Complex to brighten and protect your skin against free radical damage, Sodium Hyaluronate to plump your skin and support natural blood circulation, and Olive Leaf Extract to help with inflammation and firmness.
Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner
I won’t lie to you – this is not the best smelling product out there, but I’ve been so happy with the results. If you have oily skin, or happen to get breakouts, this toner was made for you! I have an oily T-zone, so I like to use this toner to mattify and control the oil around that area.
Versed Nix It Complexion Solution
Another item from Versed I’ve been loving is this spot treatment. A lot of spot treatments I’ve used have been really drying, but this one is the exact opposite. It’s silky smooth, and you won’t wake up with flaky skin the next morning. It’s formulated with tea-tree extract to control oil, reduce redness, and fight bacteria and salicylic acid to get rid of any clogged pores and clear out impurities.
ZitSticka KILLA™ KIT
Do you have a particularly nasty pimple that won’t go away? We’ve all been there. If you prefer a pimple-sticker, then these from ZitSticka are so amazing! They’re made of something called ‘microdarts’ aka little itty bitty spikes that puncture your pimple so that all the good stuff can go in and zap your zit from the inside out. They’re great for those pimples that haven’t broken the surface yet.
BEAUTY
Glossier Brow Flick
My girl Jane has had nothing but amazing things to say about the Glossier Brow Flick, so I just HAD to get my hands on it and try it out myself. It’s crazy how natural my brows look when I use it! As you guys know, I’ve gotten micro-blading done, but I still like to shape up and thicken my brows and the Brow Flick is perfect for doing just that. I love how you can basically draw on natural-looking brow hair.
Cle Cosmetics Palo Santo Multi-Cream
This Palo Santo scented multi-cream has been a go-to for me for a while now! It smells amazing and leaves my hands feeling so moisturized. It’s a multi-cream so you can use it as a hand lotion, on your body and even on the tips of your hair. I especially like to use it on my hands and elbows before bed so it hydrates as I sleep, and the Palo Santo scent is soothing and calming!
Glossier Play Gitter Gelee
I’m a girly girl at heart, so you know I still love my glitter! I’ve been so mesmerized with the Glossier Play Glitter Gelee ever since I got my hands on it. It’s super easy to apply and because it has a clear gel base – there’s zero fall-out so it stays put. It’s also really buildable so you can sparkle as much as you’d like!
BODY
Ellis Brooklyn Rrose Eau De Parfum
If you like floral scents then you’ll LOVE Rrose. It’s somehow light and fresh but warm all at the same time, which makes it a great scent to transition into fall! Not to mention I get compliments EVERY time I wear it!
Fur Stubble Cream
If you shave anywhere on your body you need this stubble cream! It almost acts like an aftershave, which I love for my bikini line and underarms. It absorbs really quickly into your skin and helps prevent ingrown hairs, prickly stubble, and razor burns while looking chic enough to have a place on your vanity tray.
KINFIELD Waterbalm
When I first received this water balm, I walked around the office and put it on everyone’s arms, because it feels so AMAZING! It’s like lotion in a stick and goes on super creamy without feeling oily or sticky. It’s super gentle, so you can even use it on your face! It instantly quenches your skin’s thirst and since it’s so light, I don’t mind using it on hot days. This’ll be a great product to take on a plane as well since it provides instant moisture!
KINFIELD DEET-FREE REPELLENT GOLDEN HOUR
The same brand as the Waterbalm, this natural mosquito repellent almost sounds too good to be true but yes, it works and is DEET free. During the summer, and watching Chloe play in the backyard, I want to make sure she doesn’t get any bites but the traditional mosquito repellents are packed with chemicals… which is why I was so excited to discover this! It’s made with a unique strain of Indonesian citronella which is super effective in repelling mosquitoes. I love using it, and Chloe likes it too!
