Colette's Nighttime Routine

So many of you have asked me to share what I’ve been using with Colette during her bathtime. So, as promised- here’s Colette’s Shelfie!

If you’ve watched the most recent Catching Up With Chris, you know that bathtime is such a special moment I get to share with Colette. I want only the best for her, so it’s really important to me to make sure all the products I use during and after her bathtime are as gentle, nourishing, natural and as non-toxic as possible.

I broke down all the products on her shelfie to share with you all- keep scrolling to check them out!

Bathtime

Sit & Soak Tub

Colette’s little bathtub is the best! It allows her to sit up and play without slipping. It has a little ‘support bumper’ just in case, plus a drain down at the bottom to make clean up so easy!

Shampoo & Body Wash

I’ve been using the Honest Company Shampoo & Body Wash since Chloe was a baby as well. The Honest ones are super gentle, moisturizing and cleansing and are made with coconut oil, jojoba protein, quinoa extract, aloe, chamomile and calendula, all which are soothing and not harsh on baby skin. I have two scents I’m loving right now: the Dreamy Lavender, which has been an old favorite, and Sweet Almond, which is one of the newer scents, and the girls and I love both!

Conditioner

Can you believe how much hair Colette has now? While Chloe is usually the one using the Honest Conditioners, I’ve started to give Colette a little bit as well! It makes her hair super soft and shiny! It’s made with Argan oil, shea butter, and murumuru seed butter which are all super hydrating and nourishing. Like the shampoo and body wash combo, I have two scents of the conditioners that I rotate using: the Sweet Almond and Sweet Orange Vanilla!

Gentle Cleansing Gel

This cleansing gel from Mustela, which, if you’ve never heard of them is an amazing natural and gentle brand from France! Along with having really great products, they also are very socially and environmentally responsible. The cleansing gel has a biodegradable formula which is made with 90% plant-based ingredients AND has Vitamin B5 to be gentle but still effective.

Soothing Cleansing Gel

This soothing cleansing gel is fragrance-free and really great if your baby has really sensitive skin or is prone to rashes. It’s made with schizandra, which is an adaptogen & berry extract that helps keep your baby’s skin balanced and protected from environmental stressors!

Stelatopia Cleansing Cream

I’m lucky that Colette hasn’t had many skin problems so far, but this cleansing cream is fantastic if your baby does happen to have a lot of irritation. It’s made specifically for babies who have eczema prone skin! It’s made with Sunflower Oil Distillate and Avocado Perseose to soothe and protect.

Nourishing Cleansing Gel + Cold Cream

I really love that this cleansing gel has cold cream in it. I’m a lover of cold creams myself, so I was so excited to find it in a baby product! It’s great for dry skin, especially if you live in colder climates and feels very gentle and hydrating.

Hydra Bebe Body Lotion

Another favorite from Mustela, this body lotion is super smooth, hydrating and is not the slightest greasy! It’s formulated with a lot of plant-based ingredients like Jojoba Oil, Sunflower Oil, Vitamins E, and F, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter which leave Colette’s skin crazy soft!

No-Rinse Cleansing Water

This cleansing water is so great between bathtimes. It’s a micellar water which dissolves dirt and impurities which cleanse like you just washed your baby! It’s super gentle and gets all the bad stuff off while keeping all the good stuff, like the natural oils in! The best part is, you don’t need to rinse off your baby after!

Butter Cheeks Baby Diaper Balm

This balm goes on Colette’s little bum after every diaper change and every bath! It rolls on which means it’s virtually mess-free, and protects, soothes and hydrates all that sensitive skin from any chafing and rashes!

Konicare Minyak Kayu Putih – Cajuput Oil

This is like a baby miracle oil! To break it down, it helps soothe tummy troubles (things like gas and nausea), and relieves nasal congestion! It’s made of 100% cajuput oil which is used as a tonic to help treat colds, headaches and more! I like to put some on Colette’s tummy after her bath.

Baby Healing Ointment

CeraVe is a favorite line of mine, and this baby healing ointment is great! It’s amazing for helping to prevent diaper rashes and is very hydrating! It’s made with skin protecting petrolatum, hyaluronic acid, and three essential ceramides to promote optimal skin barrier function!

So, to all my mommy readers out there, what’s on your baby’s shelfie? Drop a comment down below, and if you haven’t already- be sure to watch the latest Catching Up with Chris here!
