Blazers are Having a Moment Again
We can all agree that blazers are totally having a moment again. They’re available in all different colors, shapes, sizes and now made with the stylish boss babe in mind.
This preppy wardrobe staple has been around for ages, and you really can’t ever go wrong with throwing one on. No matter what you happen to be wearing, adding a blazer instantly makes you look more polished, refined and put together.
Since the blazer options are endless these days, there’s truly a blazer out there for everyone. I gathered some of my favorite styles, and found a bunch of affordable options for you to shop if you’re looking to upgrade your outerwear this Spring! Keep scrolling!
You probably recognize this blazer from the Spring Chriselle Lim Collection! I love the almost nautical feel that the blue and white stripes give it. Since the print color is lighter, it’s the perfect Springtime blazer (if I do say so myself)! I so happen to love wearing this paired with the matching shorts as I did in this Instagram post here, but it’s also the perfect addition to a pair of jeans or a chic sundress!
If you’re looking for some budget-friendly options, check out some of my favorites below because they’re all under $100!

Pinstripes are thin vertical stripes that are usually found in more formal men’s suits but I love the juxtaposition of wearing an oversized pinstriped blazer with a casual pair of jeans kind of like Miroslava Duma is doing above! The one in the photo on the left is Aritzia, but check out this blazer here for under $55!

Another total classic is the plaid blazer. The one above is from Anine Bing and has a more greyscale color scheme but a fun pop of bright yellow to give it a playful edge. A plaid blazer is the epitome of preppy (hello, Blair Waldorf!) but it can definitely be translated into more casual looks depending on how you style it. Try wearing it buttoned with just a super chic bralette underneath and some pants for a night out!

A blazer dress is, of course, a blazer and dress hybrid. And while I’m a sucker for a blazer OVER a dress, something about the combination of the two is just so chic and sexy. The powder blue (which is one of my favorite spring trends!) is from the Chriselle Lim Collection so be sure to grab it before it sells out! I love how AnneLaure of @adenorah styled her blazer dress with thigh-high boots in the photo above!
Here are some of my favorites for under $150!

The double-breasted blazer typically has two columns of 3 buttons (6 in total) going down the front of the blazer. They were super popular in the ’30s and ‘40s and made a comeback in the ’80s as well! However, at this point, I think they’re just a classic no matter the era. The navy blue one pictured above is from Zara a few seasons ago, but check out a similar option here!
