As the weather in Los Angeles dips below 80 degrees (finally) I’m so excited to start talking about fall fashion!
Yes, below 80 degrees in LA means sweater weather. Actually, anything under 65 degrees and all of a sudden we tend to feel really “cold.” As you can tell from these photos, this was shot before Colette was born, but my excitement for these fall trends stays the same! Between the color palette and the prints- this autumn promises to have some killer fashion moments.

I’ve been seeing stripes everywhere, so naturally, I had to include some of my favorites in this story! Of course, the Jane Jumpsuit from my collection is a no-brainer. When shopping for striped pieces, I personally always reach for vertical stripes, especially for jumpsuits and pants (like these here!) because they tend to slim you down and make you look taller- a total win!
For sweaters, you can’t go wrong with a turtleneck like this one here from Alice + Olivia! I truly believe you can never have too many turtlenecks. If you’re looking for a smaller touch of stripes, check out the cute heel on these mules from DVF! PS: pregnant mammas- I was about to pop when I shot this, and the Jane Jumpsuit in a size large fit me perfectly!
Camel is one of my favorite fall color staples. Something about it feels so luxe and rich- I can’t get enough of it! Between a killer coat, like the Victoria Coat from my collection, to a pair of knockout boots like these from Marc Fisher you’ll instantly look and feel like a million bucks no matter where you’re going!
Plus, if you’re looking to invest in some really good pieces this year, anything in camel would definitely be the way to go! It’s a total classic hue.
This season’s color palette is all about warm neutrals. Dare I say brown is the new black? I’m loving warm chocolate browns like the insane leather jacket from Paige that I’m wearing above (check it out here!) or the Cleo Cardigan! If chocolate brown isn’t your thing, I’d recommend trying out a deep rust like the Madison Mockneck from my collection or these gorgeous corduroy trousers!
Warm neutrals make for a perfect color palette on their own (we all know how much I love a monochrome moment), but can also compliment the rest of your wardrobe perfectly. I’m wearing the Paige leather jacket with the Wren Wrap Dress from my collection! It adds an unexpected touch and a whole lot of luxe.
can’t write a fall fashion post and not mention leopard! It’s been everywhere recently and it’s absolutely here to stay. This classic is having a major moment in the trend spotlight and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s found its way to pretty much everything, too!
From sleek blazers like the one I’m wearing above (shop it here), to bags, (like this one) and shoes (like these), and of course some killer coats like this faux leopard print coat here is under $200! Leopard print is having a huge comeback moment and I love that you can find them in all different variations for an effortlessly cool look.
Allen and I were talking to Chloe about what she wants to ask Santa for Christmas and it occurred to me how much my "Christmas Wish-List" would have changed since the last time I sent a letter to the North Pole.
