Sweaters are for Summer, Too

Hey guys! It’s Hannah! I grew up in deep south Texas, so the concept of a ‘summer sweater’ was not only foreign to me but completely incomprehensible.

How could you possibly want to wear a SWEATER during the SUMMER? It wasn’t until I moved to Los Angeles that I understood the need for one. With that said, sweaters are my favorite thing to wear. They’re super cozy and come on, who doesn’t get excited come sweater weather? But, guess what you guys? Sweaters are for summer too (even if you don’t live in LA)!

You guys have probably seen me wear this knit tank top a million times (like in my last post!), and that’s because I absolutely LOVE it. It’s super comfortable, super laid back and super chic. I can throw it on with a pair of jeans or a leather skirt or even over my bikini. And though they might not be ‘sweater’ material- these trousers are like if PJ pants and normal pants had a super fashionable baby. They’re made from a super soft knit and I’m totally obsessed with them.

These two crop tops are totally going to be summer staples for me. Both made out of sweater material, they’re super cozy and soft- but since they’re crop tops, they’ll be cool enough for summer. I paired it with the same white trousers as above, but I actually wore both of these tops (see here and here) when I was back in Texas last week! And if they can pass in the 90 degrees and 80 percent humidity weather challenge, then I know they’ll be good!

I’m sorry but how good is this dress? I found it at Zara the other week and knew it needed to be mine. I usually wear an x-small or a small at Zara, but the only size available was a medium so I ended up crisscrossing the straps over my head and I LOVED how it looked. Pair it with the coolest hat ever, a pair of heels and some sunglasses– I felt like Audrey Hepburn in like, Monaco or something.

So are you guys convinced with sweaters for summer yet? Leave a comment down below and tell me & I’ll see ya’ll next week!
