Hello TCF community! It’s Jana Williams here and I am super excited to share a cool new smoothie recipe with you that I like to call the “Sleepy Time Smoothie.” A good night’s sleep is so beneficial for us. When we sleep, our body heals, our brain takes a break, and our skin rejuvenates. In this fast paced life we all lead, it is so important for you to get your beauty sleep. In general, you’re likely to sleep better if you follow a healthy diet and here are some foods that can make sleeping a little easier. Foods such as bananas, cherries, honey, almonds, and dark greens contain chemicals such as magnesium, melatonin, and serotonin to help induce sleep.
Here is the recipe for the Sleepy Time smoothie I have added to my nightly routine. I also dab a little lavender oil under my nose and on my pillow. OH, & silently name 5 things I am grateful for even on the worst days before I fall asleep!

Place the ingredients into your high-speed blender and blend for around 30-45 seconds or until your desired consistency is reached (feel free to add a little ice if you like your smoothies a bit colder!).
