How to Get Jen Atkin's Famous Beach Waves

If there’s one thing about hair we can agree on, it’s that everyone wants beach waves a lá Jen Atkin. But since we all can’t look like Kendall Jenner, what’s a girl to do? When the Queen of Hair was in the office a few weeks ago filming this video, I just had to ask her for a step-by-step tutorial on how to achieve those famous beach waves of hers. The look is so chic and effortless, I can tell why it’s the number one most coveted hair tutorial! Keep reading to see how you can achieve instant photo-ready hair in a just a few simple steps!

1.  Prep damp hair with OUAI Wave Spray and Christophe Robin Volumizing Mist.

2. Blow-dry hair with Dyson blow dryer and Ibiza round brush.

3. Curl hair by wrapping 1″ sections around a 1.25″ GHD curling iron leaving the ends out.

4. When finished curling, lightly go over random sections with the Kardashian Beauty flat iron, creating a non-uniform curl pattern.

5. Spray OUAI Texturizing Hairspray throughout and shake out the waves with your hands.  

6. Finish with OUAI matte pomade for a piece-y, beachy texture.
