Nailed It // Fall Nails 2016

So the first official day of fall might not be until September 22nd, but I’m starting fall fashion now! Well, kind of. With Los Angeles weather being perpetually warm; the easiest, fastest and least expensive way to fall into fall fashion is to change up your nail polish. I’m so excited to have teamed up with Essie to discover this season’s polish trends! Rust and plums plus mint and an antique blossom pink make Essie’s Fall 2016 collection the perfect range of hues. Plus, Essie’s collection is all inspired by one of the coolest cities in the world: Tokyo!

Sultry & Strong

The first polish look I’m loving for Autumn is a mix of Playing Koi and Udon Know Me. The mix of the warm and cool in a geometric layout is a great statement. The rust orange and the stone blue are opposites on the color wheel so they look the strongest together! I usually get neutral colors on my nails, but something about these two together just makes so much sense.

Sleek & Simple

This look is much more moody than the first. I paired the colors Kimono Over, Now & Zen and Udon Know Me in a peek a boo nail art. While each of these colors look gorgeous on their own, I love the combination of the three. When you think fall colors, you usually gravitate toward reds and warmer tones, but I love the cool colors that this collection has.

So are you ready to start incorporating these Tokyo inspired colors into your fall beauty routine? Be sure to check out Essie’s Nail Inspiration page for the perfect fall nail art!
