Bohemian Princess

If you follow me on snapchat (@chrisellelim) you’ll recognize this tunnel! Back on our Palm Springs road trip with the team, we came across the most picturesque desert landscape I’ve ever seen. I even ended up hiking through the sand barefoot! It felt so amazing to be somewhere so serene and beautiful. I have the honor of traveling to so many amazing places around the world, but it was incredible to discover what’s basically my own backyard!

Something about the embroidery of this Valentino dress (similar here!) that I found on FWRD fit so effortlessly with tunnels. The details were so beautiful that I felt like I was wearing a piece of art. To add a bit of edge to the feminine silhouette, I added this super cool western inspired belt with a double buckle on top. Not many people think to add belts over dresses, but I love that they add definition to your waist and I think it really finishes off the look! This belt is great because it looks great with jeans and trousers too!

I finished off the look with these amazing lace up flatform espadrilles from Sigerson Morrison. The best part about lace up sandals is that you can choose how you tie them up. Usually I’d tie the ribbons more closely together by my ankle, but since I wore them with a dress, I laced them up my calf. I felt like an amazon princess!I like to rely on that one statement coat to make an outfit pop during the cold weather, but as the weather warms up, it all comes down to the accessories! Be sure to check down below for my belt and flatform picks!

Have a great Wednesday everyone!
