A Hitchhiker’s Guide to Fringe

[parallax][/parallax]

After I found this dress by Christopher Kane on FWRD I just had to break my no fringe festival dressing rule. I decided to put a spin on fringe by going for an LBD with asymmetrical electric blue fringe instead of the usual boho vibe. Though I’m all for a little bohemian here and there, I love how sleek and polished this look is. I paired the dress with this Saint Laurent straw bag and these amazing lace up fringe sandals by Sigerson Morrison. And did you notice- all pieces have a little fringe on them! I loved the movement they gave when I walked down this desert road.

So if you’re shopping for festival pieces, it’s important to get items that can translate well into the summer months too. This woven bag is amazing and holds so much, which is going to make it the perfect baby beach bag this summer. The best part about a bag with this kind of texture is that when you bring it to the beach, the sand can just shake out of it! That means less cleaning, and less sand following you into your car! And what summer wardrobe is complete without the perfect sandals? I love this pair in particular and I love that the lace up flat trend has transitioned into spring/summer. I did a little research and found some amazing options under $150! Be sure to check out my picks below for the perfect start of your summer wardrobe!

So as you’re reading this, I’m sitting on the beach in Tulum, Mexico celebrating my birthday with Chloe and the hubby! If you’re on your way to Coachella, have a blast!
