You may remember seeing bits and pieces of a super secret shoot I did a while back late last year. I am so happy to finally share this amazing project with you! It was such a great way to close off 2015 with a bang. I’ve had a few opportunities to create beautiful short films this past year: from my first ever short with SKII to a Fashion Campaign for 7Fam Jeans, and now a beauty video with none other than Fresh Beauty. You guys know how much I love Fresh products and have featured their Rose Mask numerous times on the blog.
More than just a video about my skincare routine, I think this video embodies the sacred time a woman’s beauty routine is. Not only is it a time for me to focus on self care, but it’s a time of daily reflection and when I can get lost in my thoughts. For most of the week I’m worried about what’s next and what upcoming projects I have. Whether it be what Chloe needs to eat or what projects I need to complete at work. Because of my demanding schedule and constant need to be plugged in, I don’t get to live in the moment.
I want to encourage you guys to take time for yourself every once in a while. Whether it be taking 15 minutes to nourish your skin with a little spa time or even journaling your thoughts. Trust me a little time alone can be the perfect reset button. Stay inspired and hope you guys enjoy this video!
