#SquadGoals at Tommy Hilfiger

One of my absolute favorite shows to see at Fashion Week is Tommy Hilfiger! The set design and production behind it is always so incredible. It’s always fun in trying to guess what they’re going to do! This season they were inspired by the Caribbean. Bob Marley music was playing in the background and the show was just really chill and cool.

Some of you guys might remember I was at the Tommy Hilfiger Fitting on my snapchat and I decided to go for something I normally don’t do. I gravitated toward the colors and more masculine silhouettes! Haha, who knew the girly-side of me had a masculine side? As you guys know, I don’t usually play with colors, but this time, I have pretty much have all the primary colors on me, red, blue and yellow. Despite not being what I usually go for, this look was one of my favorites this season. It’s definitely inspired me to continue to try different things, different silhouettes, and different colors. Who knows, maybe after this show I’ll adopt more colors? I like the idea of a bomber jacket with fitted trousers but the pleats on the shirt and heels made it more feminine. I think after today, I’ve decided that red is my favorite color.

I took a Fashion Week hiatus for the entire year that I was pregnant, and this is my first season back. I was worried I would be really overwhelmed, but to my surprise, I was able jump right in and go back-to-back shows everyday! But if you’ve been watching my snapchat, you know I really miss Chloe!!! I didn’t realize how much I missed her until I was talking to a mommy friend and she asked me how I felt about being apart from Chloe. I ended up crying in the middle of the show! (But very quickly and discreetly of course!) So yeah, balancing mom and work life, is not easy. Luckily for me, being surrounded by so many working women in fashion helps to motivate me from giving my all every day. I’m very thankful for my team and everyone who supports me. I don’t know what I’d do with out them!
