There’s nothing quite like a classic little black dress, but sometimes an LBD can seem a little too ordinary as it’s such a classic item in your closet. Recently, I found this dress by French designer Roland Mouret which got me really excited because the details in this dress is just beautiful! Their line also specializes in evening wear and the exquisite details in this particular dress are what sold me.
I love how the cool halter detail and contrasting texture adds a modern twist to this dress. And let me tell you fit is KEY in anything you wear. An item that looks tailored and meant for your shape it can look very expensive. I love the figure hugging material on this dress, it’s a little thicker which is great for hiding problem areas as well! The cool cut is also an update from a typical knee length dress. I am so glad to have found my go-to LBD dress for this summer season. It’s something I can transform from dinner overlooking the ocean with my team, to a date night, or to an event!
