5 Favorite Anti Aging Products

The best advice anyone ever gave me was to start taking care of my skin in my early twenties. You’d be surprised by how fast our skin will wear and tear after years of stress and sun damage! (Especially from the lack of sleep as a new mother!!) & In case you guys haven’t noticed from all my skin beauty posts .. I’m a bit of a beauty junkie! I love using the latest products and having healthy glowing skin. There’s nothing like feeling amazing about yourself because you also look amazing on the outside. Today I’m sharing 5 of my favorite anti-aging products with you guys!

1. Laura Mercier Flawless Skin

I initially got this Laura Mercier flawless skin repair day creme for my travels (since they have a small travel kit size), but loved it so much that I bought the original size. This flawless Skin repair creme is an advance anti aging moisturizer that helps smoothe and rejuvenate the skin. Ever since I turned 30 my skin has been a bit more unbalanced and i’ve been more prone to break outs for whatever reason. It has helped whip my skin back into the condition it was in after using it for about 2 weeks. I’ve always had a problem with small break outs due to the excess production of milia, and this moisturizer has helped control those stubborn little white heads as well. The day cream is fast absorbing, and a little goes a long ways.  It not only protects (SPF 15) but has properties in it to repair my skin. There are properties in this product like argan oil to intensively hydrate my skin as well as plump up fine lines! I don’t think it’s ever too early to start worrying about lines .. especially since I just turned 30.. Harsh reality right?

2. Light Stim

Seriously guys, this is my new favorite toy. It’s always fun to play with tech gadgets.. but for me, I love using beauty gadgets!  This product is fun to use while I’m working on my computer or just watching TV with Allen. It’s an LED light that penetrates the top layer of your skin to enhance collagen and create a smoother younger looking skin. I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks, and am now starting to seeing a  difference in pore size and tighter skin texture. The only thing with this product is that it takes some time to see results, you have to be patient and consistent to start seeing some major changes in your skin. Within 3 weeks i’ve seen a dramatic difference in my pores, tighter texture, and overall brighter skin. I highly recommend on using the collagen peptide serum that comes along with it. This is a great product not only for anti aging, but also for already aged & damaged skin. This is a great fun gift to also get your mom!

3. Estee Lauder Cream & Advanced Night Repair

As you guys know i’ve been a long time user of Estee products and I absolutely love their anti-aging line. You guys know my dedication to the Advanced Night Repair serum (as seen in this video HERE). I religiously slather the ANR all over my face, neck, and hands before I go to bed. Although its recommended to use during the evenings, I also love using it during the day as a hydrating serum (adds a nice glow to my makeup).  The Revitalizing Supreme Anti Aging night cream is literally a miracle in a jar. The key is to use a tiny bit of product because this cream is more on the heavier side. Although I have acne prone skin this moisturizer doesn’t break me out, and leave my skin feeling extremely moisturized in the morning. The Night Repair serum has helped me  smooth out my skin and improve the overall texture. I often use these two products together on my skin if I haven’t had time to do a face mask!

4. Kate Somerville

You guys know how much I love Kate Somerville’s Dermal Quench Liquid Lift, a fine spray that is cooling & “lifting” to the skin,  but I also love their exfoliating wash. I exfoliate my skin twice a week, and it’s as if i’ve given myself a mini facial! It removes all the dead skin cells and clears my pores.  It’s not only a great exfoliator but it also lightens any scars I have and makes my skin glow after!

5. Fresh Seaberry Skin Nutrition Booster

I’ve been on a major obsession with oils. What I love about this sea berry skin oil is that it amplifies your existing products. It’s a luxurious blend of concentrated oils that you can mix with any moisturizer or eye cream.  This product is filled with Rocou extract which is packed with antioxidants. I like the idea of “feeding” my skin. I’ve been adding this to my moisturizers during the day and night, and it makes everything look so much more fresh, including my makeup. It also gives a nice base to your day makeup.
