5 Favorite // Eye Products

As you guys may remember from my glasses and dark circles post, I’m obsessed with anything regarding the eyes. Maybe it’s because the area around the eye is the thinnest and can be the first to show signs of aging or because I always struggle with dark circles .. but my favorite products are those that not only relief but enhances your eyes. Today I’m sharing 5 of my favorite eye products that I currently have on rotation!

1. Mascara

This Trish McEvoy mascara has become one of my holy grail items in the short time I have used it. I had never heard of tubing mascara until I was at their counter when visiting Nordstrom a few months ago. I have short and straight lashes but this mascara has tubing technology where this mascara creates a tube and has fibers in it to make your lashes look fuller and totally natural. As I usually prefer to go for a fresh face, I really love how with a few coats of this can give me the bright eye look I want. Fun Fact: Having thicker and longer lashes can help you look more awake!

2. Laura Mercier Eye Cream

Though I tend to try out many beauty products, I have stayed true to this Laura Mercier eye cream. (Featured in my dark eye circles post!) It is a gel creme formula so it isn’t incredibly oily and it gives me the moisture I need. There is actually argan oil and deep sea water in the ingredients which I have found to be extremely rejuvenating and helps to smooth out my skin. I usually use this product as the last step of my night routine so it can work overnight to moisturize and enhance my skin!

3. Fresh Black Tea Eye Concentrate

As for my day time eye cream, I go for this Fresh one. It’s super lightweight and sinks in fast which is great when I need to quickly put on my makeup in the morning. It also has anti aging properties because I’m all about preventing wrinkles. After applying this cream, it has a cooling effect which wakes me up in the morning. I try to do an ice facial every so often in the morning if I am just home with Chloe, but if I don’t have time or am getting ready at the gym, this gives me a similar effect!

4. Supergoop Anti-Aging Eye Cream

I have to admit I use sunscreen pretty religiously but this Supergoop Eye Cream with SPF is just the icing on the cake. I’ve never found eye creams with sunblock until this one which is pretty funny since they even put SPF in lip balms. Oatmeal is great for the skin and especially the oatmeal in this cream is really soothing and creamy.  Not to mention the metal tip give relief to morning puffiness & helps wakes me up in the morning!

3. Double Duty Eye Treatments

I usually use both these First Aid Beauty products together. I love the First Aid Detox Eye Roller since it has caffeine in it! I’ve pretty much quit caffeine, but funnily enough .. I can use it on my eyes! The caffeine actually distributes lymphatic build-up that result in dark circles so that’s perfect for me.

This First Aid Beauty Triple Remedy is another must have for me since it doubles as a concealer! It has a thin formula which is great because I hate cakey makeup.

4. Lash Serum

I recently purchased this lash serum! Unfortunately for me .. my lashes aren’t as long or full as I want them to be, but I found this lash serum recently and am excited to test it out since they claim to make your lashes longer, fuller, and more lush! I will have to report back to you guys on my result in a few months though.. but so far so good!

5. Bausch + Lomb Pearl Eye Mask

& last but not least .. my favorite therapeutic treatment for my eyes has got to be eye masks! After setting Chloe down to sleep I warm this up in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds and wear it over my eyes for another 10 minutes. The micro beads act as stimulants for my dry and puffy eyes. Especially since I’m working after I put Chloe to bed .. this mask is a life saver for relief for my eyes. It can also be used as a cold pack by just refrigerating it overnight.
