Birthdays tend to always provoke a reflection for me. Reflecting back on the previous year on all the accomplishments and hardships. As I’m entering a new decade with confidence and grace, I can’t help but reflect back on all the amazing things that have happened in the last 10 years of my journey. The last decade has included; graduating college, moving to downtown LA, getting married to the love of my life, starting my blog & channel, starting my company, traveling the world, enduring a miscarriage, and of course giving birth to Chloe. There were many exciting new discoveries, ups & downs, and of course success and failures. Today I want to share with you 30 Things I Learned In 30 Years:
1. Follow Your Passion- Life is too short to be doing something you don’t love. When you love what you do, you are able to live passionately & confidently.
2. Prioritize Your Relationships- I’ve learned that people are your greatest assets both personally and professionally. You can accomplish anything with the right people in your life. Take time to get to know people, and build those right relationships.
3. Invest In Yourself- Both externally and internally. Externally as in pampering yourself- getting a blow out, getting your nails done, shopping, etc . When you feel good about yourself, your inner positivity will radiate from the inside out. Internally as in expanding your mind by educating yourself- reading books, attending seminars, etc.
4. Get Your Finances Straight- Here’s a not so fun lesson, but a crucial one. Pay off your debt, get your credit straight, and it’s never too early to start a financial plan! No one likes talking about money, but it’s a conversation you need to have with yourself eventually.
5. Find A Mentor- Find someone that inspires you, and that you aspire to be like one day.
6. Quality Over Quantity- Identifying those quality relationship/friendships and really investing your time & energy there instead of trying to please the masses.
7. Invest In The Basics- Instead of wasting all of your money on “trendy” statement pieces, invest in the pieces that you will need in your closet forever- Tailored blazer, Crisp white button up, and a quality purse.
8. Pay It Forward- I wouldn’t be here without the help & support of a countless amount of people. Giving back to what has been given to you is not only necessary, but it’s also the best form of gratitude.
9. Be nice to EVERYONE- I mean literally everyone. Don’t judge someone by how they look, where they are from, or their “status”. You never know who they will become one day! I know so many girls that were once interns that are now incredibly powerful people in the industry.
10. Health Is Wealth- If you don’t have health, you’ve got nothing. Unfortunately we live in a a society where people start caring about health once they no longer have it. You’ve got one body, treat it right when you can!
11. Sweat Daily- Especially if you’ve been sitting in front of a computer all day you need to get out there and sweat! It’s not only good for your body, but also for the mind. Sweating will give you more energy, will restore your body, and stimulate your mind.
12. Write down your goals- I’m a big believer in the law of attraction, and writing them on paper is the first step in making them into a reality.
13. Be Present- When you are somewhere actually be THERE, the people around you will appreciate you for that. Put that phone away when you are having dinner with a group of friends. Engage in conversation, ask questions, tell stories, and create memories.
14. Digital Detox- Have a day where you have a digital cleanse. It’s necessary to restore the mind & soul, and to connect with one self outside of the digital world. So often we get caught up with what everyone else is doing, that it’s hard to focus on yourself.
15. Be genuinely interested in others- This is a great way to build new relationships, connections, and will open up new opportunities.
16. Eat the ice cream- It’s ok to treat yourself to something sweet once in a while. It’s great to be disciplined and strict on yourself, but don’t forget to live life along the way!
17. You can have everything, but not all at once – This is something I learned this past year. You can have that dynamic relationship and a booming career, but keep in mind that both things take time to build & maintain.
18. Stop comparing yourself to others- Everyone has a unique purpose and their own story. Although its exceptionally hard nowadays with Instagram and other social media outlets, but it’s important to live your own life, and not worry about what everyone else is doing.
19. Support & Collaborate- Surround yourself with likeminded people, and support one another. It’s truly amazing what 1 determined person can achieve on their own, but imagine what a handful of motivated individuals can achieve together.
20. Travel often & indulge in culture- There is nothing more humbling than traveling. The more I travel the more I realize how much I don’t know about the world.
21. Life doesn’t stop after a baby- It might temporarily put a hold for the first few months, but life only gets better with a baby. I find myself having more motivation, passion, purpose, and drive with everything that I do. Everything I do is for her, there’s no better feeling that that.
22. It’s never too early to reverse aging – Take care of your skin by using anti aging products, drink lots of water, get lots of sleep , and of course where tons of sunblock while you can! It’s never too early to start.
23. Happiness Comes From Within- Our possessions should not define who we are nor our state of happiness. True happiness is a state of mind, comes from within, and not from the things we own.
24. Love your enemies and forgive the ones that hurt you- Although it’s easy to hold grudges and count the number of times someone has done you wrong (i’m guilty of this), but when you learn to forgive others you are learning to forgive yourself. You will find freedom in letting go, and will be much happier.
25. Slow Down & Breathe- This is something i’m still learning how to do, but i’ve discovered that it’s necessary to do this or you can burn out quickly.
26. You will regret the things that you didn’t do than the things that you did do- Take those risks, as you never know what will happen!
27. Be honest and share your experience with others- This was a lesson learned after I opened up about my miscarriage. I was incredibly shocked to see how many women have endured the same situation as I did, and have never told anyone until I opened up about it myself. You never know who’s lives you might touch by simply sharing your story.
28. Have a vision- It’s easy to get caught up with where you are now, but have a vision of where you want to go, and who you want to be in the future. Be a visionary.
29. Nice People DON’T finish last- People with integrity and a kind heart always wins the game. It’s ok to be stern and know what you want, but always respect those around you.
30. Learn from others- ?????????
You may think that I forgot to finish #30, but I purposely left it blank for YOU! It would be an honor for me to learn from YOU, so if you can leave a comment on any life lessons you have learned thru out the years, that would be the greatest birthday gift I could ask for!
Thank you for being my biggest supporters and allowing me to live my dream everyday!

Hi Chriselle,
Just came across your blog by chance. I love your list and wish you an amazing decade ahead full of success, health, love and unforgettable moments.
The two hardest lessons I learned are “timing” and “letting go of things/past/people”. Timing because it happens that you meet a person or have that opportunity knocking on your door but timing is just off and so it doesn’t work out. You might be very discouraged and broken at the time so you have to keep going in hopes that when the “time” is right, things will fall into place. “Letting go of things/past/people” is equally hard. I use to keep a lot of sentimental things because I longed for those beautiful moments. While this is OK for some, it prevented me from creating new memories. Sometimes, relationships can be so hard that you don’t know when to call it quits. So to learn go someone told me “When God takes takes something away from your hand, he is not punishing you. He is merely emptying your hand for you to receive something better.”
XOXO
Hi Elle,
Thanks for your comment! I absolutely agree with timing and letting go of the past. How else would you make way for the new amazing things in your life? Hope to see you again around here! xo
Hi Chriselle,
Happy Birthday!!

I hope I can be amazing women like you.

Hi Chriselle! I follow you for a couple of years now, I am totally agree with the whole list, I’m I huge believer of the law of attraction too, so I try to live with all the positive vibes as possible. One thing I’ve learned this past years is that it’s not selfish to think about yourself when you have to make vital choices because your life is yours and nobody’s else. And also that hard work ALWAYS pays, in one way or another. Thank you for being such a huge inspiration and for always spreading good feelings.
Kisses from Spain (I hope one day you’ll come to my beautiful country and be able to meet you).
Oh thank you Laura that is amazing advice! I definitely need that as I feel so selfish taking time for myself sometimes! Xoxo
Thank you for this post. It really portrays what a genuine person you are and rules you live by. I truly enjoy reading it. Thank you for your honesty and sharing. I am an entrepreneur with 2 young boys, 6 and 3 yrs old. I realised many working mums like myself feel constantly guilty as we have lesser time with our young ones. I have learnt to treasure the times I have with my boys and just enjoy their company instead of feeling upset over work commitments and beating myself over it. Quality time is just as important as quantity time when it comes to kids.
Enjoy your birthday & have a fabulous one Chriselle!
Thank you Ashley! You’re an amazing role model!
I love the pattern mixing!

Very inspiring list Chriselle, I have printed it out to show my kids.
Thanks Robert, I hope they get inspired from it!
I’ve been following you for couple years now and my little guy is just two weeks older than Cloe. You have been my Inspiration through your dress the bump series, and I love watching our babies grow. One thing I’ve learned after having a baby is to be humble. Ive learned so much about parenting from the most unexpected people, as long as I’m willing to listen. I’m hoping to start my own business soon and I really look up to your success as motivation. Keep doing what you do!
Erin
Aw thank you! I hope your little guy is healthy and strong! Good luck with everything! xo
looking fabulous.pictures are just awesome.and what a nice dress you shall try out some fashion jewellery with it as well

Thank you for the tip Stephanie !
Dear Chriselle,
Happy Birthday to you and a kind of new part of your Life. Everything you said is really motivating for me.
I am really looking forward to the future.
As you said it is very important to overcome some hardships and hopefully you learn to handle them and be better the next time. Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us.
I am not sure if it was mentioned before, but one of the things I learned for myself is”believe in you and do as much as you can, try your hardest but do not over do yourself, because sometimes you can loose having the fun doing what you do,if you take yourself to serious and focus on the really important things of your life.
I really wish you the best!
Honny
Thank you for the tip Honny, you’re so right!
What a beautiful post. The pictures are breathtaking, your outfit was so beautifully photographic, and the words you wrote were just the icing on the cake. You had so many great and inspirational ideas, I have to give thought to what I might contribute to your list.

Happy Birthday! Thank you for such an inspiration! Best Lesson i have ever learned is to ALWAYS be myself! Cause one one can be better version of yourself than you so do not pretend somebody else and ALWAYS do your best
Yes you’re so right! And life is too short to waste pretending to be someone else!
Happy Birthday! Dont let small things bother you 🙂

Thank you Patrizia! xo
Thank you for sharing this wonderful list, it’s truly inspirational! I am still on the path of finding success in my career and it really helps to learn from others like yourself on how to improve and become better! Being an extreme introvert, I find it really challenging to form great relationships with the right people or get a great mentor. Can you share your tips on how to do this the best way possible?
Prudence
http://www.prudencepetitestyle.com
Hi Prudence, I think success in your career first comes with conquering your own personal fears! Being an extreme introvert must be difficult, but I really encourage you to do things that might seem counterintuitive to you .. like joining coworkers for dinner, or reaching out to someone you admire to be your mentor. It’s all in the small steps that makes all the difference!
One of the main life lessons I have learned over the past year is the secret to getting ahead is getting started. DON’T put off the things you are passionate about. Take your pleasure seriously – life is too short not to.
Happy 30th lovely lady xx
So true! One step forward is better than none taken! Thanks Kim <3
Lists like this is always the same… but its always great re-read, re-think, re-adjust, and recap. Thank you for sharing. You are not the most successful blogger, etc, but to know what you have your own company with 3-5 employees, is quite great.
Can you do an article on how to make friends/buiness partners/collaborations?
Hi Gwen, success is in the eye of the beholder and I think if we can even inspire one person we’re doing our job right. I’ll make a note of your request! xo
This list is wonderful and so inspiring Chriselle!
Absolutely taking lots away from it 🙂 xx

Give myself time to be alone, just without others and enjoy the time belongs only to myself and do whatever I would like to do. 🙂 PS: You are sort of “mentor” for me.
Aw thank you Helena you’re so sweet! & yes alone time is so important as I always say .. because we deserve it! xo
Happy (belated) birthday Chriselle!
I guess one lesson that I have learned and try to apply to my life continuously is:
Be grateful for what you have, but don’t forget to look on, hope, and dream.
I just realized that this little “lesson” doesn’t just embody one thing, but a multitude of things. Yay deep thinker haha.
The grateful term goes for the materialistic things that we have and our own character. I originally thought as a young kid that the equivalent of getting rich was a thing to embody success, but really it doesn’t. Ever since I converted to a new religion, I realize the value of morals and that I wasn’t a truly great character even though most people found it acceptable. Being a perfectionist, I wanted to go *snap* to that good side of things with character; but as with most things in life, things don’t happen right away. We all make mistakes, and trip a little on the roads, and it’s a part of growing up. The best that we can do is move on with improving ourselves, laugh at our mistakes, fix it, and keep on going. 🙂
Thanks for your comment Jenny, I love this! You’re so right .. positive feelings all the way! xo
Thanks Chriselle for sharing and happy birthday! I indeed learnt a lot from you be in fashion or life advices.
Best wishes always and thank you!
Thank you Siew! xo
…..Always apply the 4 gates of speech before speaking.
1. Is it kind?
2. Is it necessary?
3. Is it true?
4. Is this the appropriate time?
Happy Birthday to you!
Wow that puts a new spin on slow to speak. Thank you for this! xo
First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Secondly, I love your “learnt points” – each of them is so valuable and true! Thank you for sharing! Least but not last, this outfit is unbelievable and you look so fabulous in it! Enjoy your 30s!!!:-)

Absolutely loved this post. Happy birthday Chriselle! I’ve followed you for a few years now and it’s amazing to see how you’ve evolved over the years. This is words of wisdom that every young girl in their 20s should know! And the cover image is gorgeous, love the elegant touch of numbers on those wooden poles to signify your birthday. Here’s to an even better year for you and your family =D
love,
christine
Thank you Christine! I’m so thankful for your support all these years! Seriously it’s comments like yours that makes day!! xo
These pictures were absolutely breathtaking! I was nodding my head in total agreeance with all your life lessons, I especially loved: don’t compare yourself to others, something I used to constantly do in the past. It developed around the time when social media just exploded but as Ive grown Ive gotten more confident and self-assured, so im grateful that i no longer compare myself to people highlighted and edited images they place on social media. I love this post because aside from your awesome fashion sense i appreciate transparency and this post is relatable and enlightening!
Learn from others- you dont know it all and you can learn from all types of people – CEO or a janitor – and all ages
Thank you! I’m glad you agree with that point because it’s something I’ve had to struggle with .. whether it was comparing myself to other bloggers or just measuring my success .. it’s a vicious cycle and nothing good comes from it. We should instead be learning from others! xoxo
Beautiful !!! 🙂 Happy Bday !!!
I learned to always be positive ! Being positive will attract more positive moments !!!
“Life is not about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away !!”
PS You look Fantastic !! xoxo

I think the best thing I have learned is that you are the only one who can make you happy. I was miserable for years, and it has took a lot of work with myself to learn how to be happy and respect myself as I am. But now, here I am, happier than I’ve ever been. You can’t depend on anyone else to make you happy. Not a SO, a baby, a friend or family. Only you.
I also had to learn how to be my own friend. We often say things, horrible things to ourselves, things we would never ever say to anyone else. When I learned to be kind to myself, I’m happier and also kinder to others. So another lesson is to learn how to be your own friend.
I think you are wonderful and beautiful inside out. Really happy birthday!
That is amazing advice Iris! I love that. How can we love if we don’t love ourselves first right?
You have been one of my biggest inspiration not just in fashion, but as a person as well. You give me positive energy all the time. Happy Birthday Chriselle.
Thank you Eve! Wishing a positive day for you! xo

The lesson I have learned is that if I give up now I won’t feel better. So never give up!
P.S. I just adore you, you are my inspiration in everything and I thank you God that I found you on youtube, and can learn from you so many things. Wish you all the best!
Aw thank you Rita! Good luck on everything, you’re so sweet!

I love your lessons learned, especially no. 1. Happy birthday Chriselle! I hope you had a marvellous day with your family and friends!

Thank you! I had an amazing time with them!
Go forth in life with kindness in your heart. Embrace all that you are, for we are all unique and compliment as many people as you can throughout the day. Who knows, maybe your words will make all that much more of a difference to said individuals. Love with all your might and strive for euphoria. Best wishes!
That’s so sweet, thanks Vanesa!
Learn from others: share their pain; share their joy. Experience what your loved ones experience. Embrace their emotions, not only happiness, but tears and worries as well, since to experience is what life is about.
P.S. Really like your sharing. So inspiring to read! =)
Thank you Ali! Thank you for reading! xo
Thanks for sharing!
That is such a wonderful post. Very emotional.

I would say to trust who you are. The doubts can come in at times but you have to shut them out and remember who you are. I’ve always done my own thing and I wouldn’t change that for anything. It lead me to great things and it lead me down the wrong path but both were necessary in order to be the person I am today.

Happy birthday, Chriselle! Your life is just a huge inspiration and I follow every step of it – so I think I found that mentor, huh.
Here’s my life lesson: If there’s one thing I learned from my depression and all the years I felt like a failure, it’s that life goes on and that you should never give up on yourself. If it doesn’t work the first time, try again and if it doesn’t turn out the way you expected, maybe it wasn’t meant to be. The important thing is that you trust in your destiny and that you will end up with the right people at the right job at the right time! Never be scared of the future, it will be alright!
From Germany with LOVE, Leonie.
Aw thank you Leonie! I’ve always wanted to go to Germany! Stay strong and never give up xo
Happy birthday Chriselle! Thank you so much for sharing your story with us, you are such an inspiring and hopeful person I hope you have an awesome birthday!
Happy Birthday Chriselle! All of the things you’ve learned and mentioned over your 30 beautiful years are very inspiring. It has inspired me to be a more positive, loving & giving person. I love that you’ve shared your knowledge. Thank you! In almost a month I will be graduating college and one of the first things that stayed in my mind while reading the 30 things you learned in 30 years was to do something that makes you happy. That really is something that I hope to persue as I get older and older. And this is something I would like to share with my friends as we continue to live our lives. I hope you enjoyed your birthday. & congrats on your new addition to your family.
Yours truly,
Bria Anderson
I’m glad I can share this with you as you are about the enter the best stage of your life! (At least it was for me.) Good luck Bria!
Happy birthday Chriselle! I hope you enjoy a wonderful meal and night sky with your family. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the things on your list because of how much your blog focused on what to wear. I’m very glad to have read your learned lessons. I think for me, I’ve learned that it’s best not to over worry about things I don’t have much control over.
My passion is clothes but I always believe that the best beauty comes from within. Thanks for sharing with me what you’ve learned too! xo
Excuse my grammatical errors. I just saw them after I posted.
I am amazed at how much wisdom you have acquired at age 30. Not too many people my age ( 50) have realized all this. This is truly inspiring thoughts and worth sharing…. i have become your silent follower since i bumped into one of your first few videos…
It has become my foundation into creative styling. You just didn’t wear clothes as it is you put something extra or wear it unconventionally. I was especially awed at the white dress where you wore in 7 ways or so. keep up the excellent job and keep on inspiring. Happy birthday!
Thank you Arlyne! Don’t be shy, I’d love to hear your thoughts! <3
Hi Chriselle, could I ask and if you’re willing to share as I don’t know too much about skin cream products. For your question #22
what anti aging cream would you recommend? Thank you 🙂
Try Kate Summerville ! (http://www.katesomerville.com/age-arrest-anti-wrinkle-cream/, http://www.katesomerville.com/dermalquench-liquid-lift/) I’ve been hooked on their products as of lately. Thank you for your sweet comment too <3
Happy Birthday Chriselle 🙂 wishing you all the best! So happy that someone close to me gave me your blog to read. You’re an inspiration and I enjoy reading your blog everyday before or after work. Something for you as a birthday gift is to always be happy, surround yourself with good people and enjoy life and all the small things. Life is to short and I waited to long to enjoy it. Also, your 30 things you’ve learnt in life is well said and put together 🙂 I will take your 30 things to heart. And thank you for sharing your blog and your great inspirations 🙂
xoxoxo
Thank you Kai! Best wishes xoxo
Hi, i wish you many years of health and wisdom. I love your videos and you truly inspire me. I am only 23 but what i have learned in this year is that; indeed live is too short and comparing doesnt bring any joy or benefit, people come and go so enjoy the ride while it last. Do more of what makes you happy and learn from people.
Thank you! You still have a long way to go, enjoy it! xo
Happy Birthday Chriselle!

Hi Chriselle and happy b-day! I realy liked your post and found many thoughts that i can share in this period of my life. I’m struggling to find a way to accomplish my self and i only can do it by following my passions, as you wrote, i understood it now, at 25 years old, after many mistakes, after 5 years spent in studing something that i hate, i hope and i’ll do everything to change my life even if sometimes i feel alone and believe i can’t do. Your post inspired me to find more strenght to persuit my dreams, so thank you, it’s always nice to read your posts, especially this one.
Best of luck to you Simona!
Happy Birthday!! I am as well turning 30 this year so this list could not have come at a better time. Thank you for sharing! <3
You’re welcome Esther, and happy birthday!
Amazing post! I loved it. Thank you Chriselle! A list to have a look at once in while. Xoxo
Thank you Pauline!
Happy birthday, Chriselle! First off, I would like to congratulate you not only for this wonderful post and outfit, but for your immense dedication and success with this blog! You are such a positive role model for your readers! One lesson I’ve learnt in my (so far short) life, is that it’s better to be alone than in bad company. Last year, I cut out all of the toxic people in my life and only then did a learn to appreciate the value of solitude. All of the things you wrote are ones I could relate with and am sure everyone else felt the same way too!

Aw you’re still so young, Juliette! Have fun and enjoy! xo
I really enjoyed reading your articles, Happy birthday to you and I know how it is to feel knowing your into 30s now but it’s gets better.. Thank you for sharing your honest writing on who you are and what you have learn, because we all relate to each other in many ways, and you are making it aware that we are not alone, and it’s not end of the world.. And it’s only a beginning to letan, explore, and be the person you want to be, it’s hard when whole world look at you differently because you choose not to be follower, which makes you stand out, and sometimes it seems to be looked as stuck up, but it’s really a not, so what do you do in an situation like that, I rarely explain myself to anybody, unless it’s important, any advise would be great.. Thank you again and happy belated birthday.. Always smile..
Thank you Tashi! & for your long comment also, I’m really touched! xo
happy birthday. I watch every video you post and read almost every blog post, although I don t comment. what I’ve learned by now it’s that everything happenes for a reason and that good things come when you least expect. I found love when I was in peace with the thought it won’t come to me. I wish you the best in all, health and happines, for all three of you. You are an inspiration for me. Greetings from Romania:*
Aw thank you for all your support Madlen, I’m so honored to have amazing readers and viewers like you! Good luck to you!
I’m blown away by your post! Really inspiring! I’m at a point right now where I’m really struggling with my studies but I think your post might just have been a motivation for me to get s*** done! Thanks! From what I know, the most important thing in life is, and always will be, family! Family is always there for you and just accepts you exactly the way you are so you should really take time to give back to them and especially to your parents.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and love from Germany!
Good luck wit your studies Kathi, your life is what you make it! xoxo

Super inspiring things Chriselle, I noted all of your things. May be the 30th is believe in God because without God whatever our planning will not come true however we want it hardly.
Happy birthday, hope more happiness and success for you 🙂
Yes Amen! God always has a plan for us. <3
Happy Birthday! The photos look wonderful!
What I have learned thus far is that in times of depression and need, you should have even more faith in the people around you, and trust that they will treat you right and trust that they genuinely care about you. Reaching out for a helping hand is making yourself most vulnerable, but when someone takes your hand, you feel infinitely more powerful.

Thank you Yushi! That’s beautiful! <3
Happy birthday! Something I’ve learned is that you are perfect because of your imperfections and that your imperfections make you unique from everyone else so embrace your imperfections.
Aw thank you Eun! I was just going to say, no one is perfect but our perfections make us who we are!
Challenge yourself to do something new once a month. From taking a dance class, cooking class, driving a new route. Each day some of us get caught up into doing the same things so take a moment to get outside of your box and look for a new experience.
Happy birthday! Love your spirit and style. Thanks for sharing this post. Such a great reminder about life and just what I needed! xoxo
Oh yes I love that idea! I’m actually trying to make an effort to do more fun things when I’m in the city with my team! xo

Thank you Morena! xo
Today is my birthday too! It’s a good day to celebrate. 🙂 What I have learned in life is this: it’s okay to be yourself. In fact, the best thing you can do is just to be yourself. Trying to live up to some idea of who you should be will never work. You will be a better, happier version of yourself when you learn to celebrate your whole person, flaws and weaknesses included.
Happy birthday Molly! xo
Stop asking for permission — that would be my advice. Take control and follow your dreams without waiting on the permission of others.
Loved this post! Very inspiring and you’ve shared some wonderful life lessons and tips here 🙂

Yes you’re right. The people who get what they want in life are the ones who don’t wait. xo
I just loved every one of these!
Maybe after I have my baby (two weeks and 5 days left til due date) I’ll revisit this page and have gem of knowledge to add. Until then xo

Happy birthday, Chriselle! Can’t believe that we are about the same age. 😀 I celebrated my 30th birthday last year. In fact, I was so afraid of the number 30 because the thought of getting old scared me. But then I learned that It’s not how old we are, but how young we feel. Here are some lessons I’ve learned and shared on my blog http://www.crystalphuong.net/2014/11/fabulous-30.html:
1. Love with all my heart but always bring the brain with me.
2. Embrace changes and have an open mindset.
3. Be responsible for myself and people around me.
4. Family comes first.
You seem to have achieved many great things in your life, and that’s amazing! Wish you achieve many more success and happiness in years to come.

Happy birthday Crystal! Thanks for sharing with me your list xo
Happy Birthday Criselle! And such a wonderful list 🙂
I would say the number one thing I’ve learned in my 30 years is that time is so precious, and the only time we’re guaranteed is the present one. So…choose your thoughts and take action from how you dream to be right now in this moment. Waiting until everything is perfect in your life to do the things you want to do will only keep you in a permanent holding pattern.
Thanks for inspiring us all to be the best, most vibrant versions of ourselves!!!!
xx
Thank you Cynthia! xo
Happy Birthday Chriselle!!!
I’ve been a silent reader of your blog, but would love to share one thing I’ve learned and still learning as a birthday gift for you. I’ve realized and still learning how to think less of myself and more of others. It’s just so easy to always put ourselves first such as our emotions and needs. But I’ve learn that it’s much more rewarding when we think more of others. We become more considerate and appreciative individual. 🙂 Wish you all the best in this coming year and thank you so much for always sharing so much with your readers!
Thank you Athena! Don’t be silent! I love hearing all your feedback xo
Awesome read. And that cover photo is ridic cool.

Hey chriselle!
here is one of the life lessons I’ve learnt:
“Whatever makes you different that’s exactly who you are here to be, not someone that fits in with everyone else”
I agree with the fact that one should surround themselves with like minded people. That’s so true and I know by spending so much time with opposite minded people. However I don’t regret that cuz I got to know a lot about others perspectives.
Happy birthday Chriselle
Thank you for sharing Rasa!
Happy birthday!!!
Absolutly you are my number 5! 🙂 such an inspiration for me.
I’ve learnt a lot through the years, but what I think it’s the most important is to be happy. Learn how to leave the past behind you, live the moment and always look for the bright side. When you do so, you can reach all your goals, make your dreams true and work in your passion.
Thanks for show us your great creativity and talent!

Thank you Ana, I’m honored! xoxo
I really want to continue blogging, but I really need a mentor to teach me the ways! Happy Birthday Chriselle ^_^

Thank you Laila and I wish you the best of luck!
Enjoy the little things. Like simply having a cup of coffee, or having a movie night with your family, or trying out the new little bakery around the corner. I think when you allow yourself to get excited about these things and enjoy them it gives you a child-like spirit that a lot of people lack today.
Yes you’re so right, thank you Mina!
Happy Birthday Chriselle. It’s quite a surprise that another friend sent me a list today of things she and a friend wished they had known before they started working. I’ve come to the conclusion that like minds think alike and it’s just so reassuring knowing that in different parts of the world, people are going through the same things and are still able to reach out and provide support.
Cheers Chriselle and have a wonderful day.

Happy Bday Chriselle!! It’s such an inspiration to see how you have evolved into an even more amazing person, not to mention more beautiful and classy! What I have learned is that life gets better with age and it’s never too late to start something new! Wish u a wonderful day!!
Thank you Huong! Hope you have a wonderful day also!
Don’t let small things bother you! As a university student, marks maybe our first priority, but remember that they rarely count in the end! If you want something, you’ll get it. You just need to work hard and have the patience. Calm down and relax, because when you look back, you’ll realise that you cried, panicked and felt broken for something insignificant.
Thank you Krish! xo
Happy Birthday, I jsut love your article about 30things I learn in 30yrs. You are such a Inpiration. You are my idol.
Thank you Mindy! I’m so honored for that!
