5 Sentimental V-Day Gifts

One of the many reasons why I love Allen is because he’s not materialistic. I think I mentioned before that he keeps me grounded because he’s not constantly on social media, he’s just happy with doing the simplest things. (And now spending time with our little Chloe!) So usually on Valentines Day, I don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on him and he’d be happy just the same. Today I’m sharing 5 gifts I’ve gotten Allen & know your significant other would love! Sometimes love speaks louder in actions than materials. Read below to see what 5 gifts are worth more than diamonds!

1. Pictures

Now more than ever we see photos everywhere, on instagram, facebook, it almost makes us desensitized to the power of photos. But there’s something so sweet and timeless about a photograph! I had photos of Chloe printed for Allen this Valentines Day, and it’s so precious. I also made wallets for my parents but that’s another story.. Printing out your photos can remind your special someone of that amazing memory you guys had!

1. Sweets

Never underestimate the power of sweets. Sweeten up his day by making a little candy jar for him to take to work!

3. Love Notes

I love how easy this one is to do and yet it’s incredibly thoughtful. I’ve added a more masculine colored ribbon so that Allen can take these little love notes with him to work when he needs a pick-me-up! I had a lot of fun writing the notes too, you can include little stories or fun facts, and even inside jokes!

4. Engraved Jewelry

It’s not only girls that can get spoiled with engraved jewelry on this holiday! (Although it would be really cute to get matching bracelets right?) I love Giles & Brother’s engraved bracelets, they’re super cute and can be unisex. What should I engraved on Allen’s bracelet this year?

5. Heartfelt Card

Sometimes words can speak more than a thousand pictures. I see Allen every day but writing him a card allows me to say all the little things that goes unspoken every day. Like how blessed I am to be the mother of his child.. how excited I am for our family … ahh! & I absolutely love how beautiful and unique of a concept these cards from Ellen Weldon Design have. “How foolish it is to think that we only love with our hearts. love touches every bone in our bodies and when we are consumed with that feeling, it is truly beautiful.”

And there you have it, five extremely heartfelt and sentimental gifts! What will you be getting that special someone for this Valentines Day?
