Dressing the Bump // Week 28

Monday

This stretchy one piece jumper couldn’t have come into my life at a better time. It comes with an expandable waistline, and a drawstring that sits right below my belly. I feel like black is the perfect way to camouflage your growing belly, and to add a bit of sophistication I added a classic trench coat. I wore this to my weekly Monday morning meetings!

Tuesday

I’ve always been obsessed with one piece sweater dresses, it’s the perfect piece to have in your closet for the fall/winter time (pregnant or not!). It’s cozy and extremely easy to wear. I tied my favorite denim jacket around my waist to emphasize my belly and to add some shape to a simple look.

Wednesday

With my never-ending growing belly, the hardest part of getting dressed is finding bottoms that actually fit! Sometimes I wake up and I’m like, “Whoa! my belly just grew!” One piece dresses are always easier to wear, but I’ve been able to get away with either maternity jeans or skirts that are extremely stretchy. This Tweed skirt has so much stretch it’s pretty amazing!

Thursday

I attended a work dinner last week, and decided to go for more of a festive look with a red dress & red pumps, and of course my favorite tartan coat (from last season). Now that the weather is colder I love being able to play with my outerwear pieces. I’ve been keeping it pretty simple underneath, and relying on fun prints and accessories on top to make a simple outfit more intricate.

Friday

I ended up just running some errands on Friday so I decided to keep it casual and cozy. You can never go wrong with a cozy knit sweater along with casual basics on the bottoms. Also I can’t even tell you how much I’ve worn these flat Over the knew boots from Stuart Weitzman this season!
