Dressing the Bump // Week 26

I’m not a huge fan of polka dots .. unless they are really tiny! I love this print and especially in the form of a loose trouser. I’ve discovered that the hardest thing to find to wear during pregnancy is bottoms! So when I found these stretchy (non maternity) trousers at Anthropologie, I knew I had to have them immediately! A new challenge i’ve been facing as of this month is that my shirts are slowly rising up my belly, so I invested into a few maternity shirts that covers & hugs my belly in the right area such as this basic tank HERE.  Pairing it with a blazer today for a comfortable and chic look for my Monday meetings.

Bringing out one of my old spring dresses today because the need for stretchy dresses are becoming increasingly high in demand. Give it a fall feel by pairing it with booties and a textured coat! (My belly looks so huge from the side!)

One of my favorite things to do for the fall (as you may or may not have noticed) is over the knee highs ! The weather gets so chilly at night now, that this structured black coat is an essential to this look.

Although I love my shift dresses, I have to say that drawstring dresses are my best friend now, as they give your growing body a bit more shape! A casual black dress is always great to have in your closet for those simple Thursdays.. Here I’m playing up my accessories more by stacking my Jennie Kwon rings and wearing a studded bib.

What did I say about the draw-string dresses right? (This is a must-have for mommies-to-be.) I love earthy tones like this sage green and the hints of brown in my jacket and shoes.
