This week whirled by more quickly than expected..cant believe It’s our 2nd to last night here in paradise! I must confess I was starting to get used to this laidback Hawaii lifestyle….but soon enough there will be a change of pace and back to the LA hustle .
After a week long of breezy one pieces i’m now finally ready to transition back into layers upon layers, cashmere scarves , and soft cardigans.
Here are some images of me at our so called home in Hawaii for the past 7 days (the Kahala Resort). For now I will be soaking up every last single moment, here in paradise, before its gone….

I’ve always been a steadfast believer in the notion that it’s always better to be over-dressed than under. Red & green reminds us of christmas, black & orange reminds us of Halloween, and when I see red leather I think of leopard. (Don’t ask why..I just do!) Paired up this impossibly cool red boyfriend blazer with my red leather mini. Red on Red is quite a bold fashion statement …make sure you break up all the redness in between with a neutral color belt or a strong pattern (such as leopard).
Will be filming a fun tutorial today out in Palm Spring with Michelle Phan…oh boy are we ready to burn. Heard it will be 107 degrees out there! Wish us luck! Have a lovely day darlins’

alot of gals have been asking me where I get my inspiraiton from when I dress myself every morning. I get my inspiration from many different places but as simple as it sounds I get most of my wardrobe inspiration directly off the runway. Seriously! I study each runway season like it’s the bible! Sometimes Runway shows make fashion seem unattainable or intimidating but i’m going to show yall how I get my fave runway looks and transform it into an everyday look… Lets call this chapter RUNWAY to EVERYDAY
Chapter 1: RUNWAY TO EVERYDAY:Hermes S/S 2011
Hermes Spring Summer 2011 collection was probably listed on my top 5 fave runway shows of this season. WHY? well they stayed true to their roots and used their own horsey heritage as their inspiration for this collection! From the Riding hats, riding boots, ultra high waisted pants, and sleek accessories..who wouldnt want to ride a hermes girl?
How I achieved this Look:
Pants: Alexander Wang High Waisted Tencel Sweatpants (These are so comfy u can sleep in them too!)
Blouse: Elizabeth and James
Belt: Long & Thin Zara belt looped around (this is an essential for this look…here is the LOOP IT tutorial)
Watch: Michael Kors Rose Gold
Bracelets: House of Harlow
All I need now is my riding partna and my horsie!!
