I’ve had a longstanding love affair with 50′s style silhouettes- cinched in waist, full skirt, accentuating the hourglass figure! Although this dress looks vintage it’s not! I actually found it tucked in on the bottom shelf of the Anthropologie sales rack…in my size!
It seems so far yet so close…. spent the weekend traipsing around town planning the wedding. We finally got the venue & date locked down which allows me to mark off 1 out of a thousand things to do on my checklist! I guess we all have to start somewhere! My goal this week is to figure out the colors, flowers, and linens! If you guys know of any good wedding blogs or inspiration please send them over my way..i could definitely use all the help!
Today i’ll be on set styling the YMI jeans spring/summer 2012 campaign as well as styling Michelle Phan on a special little project we are working on!
Happy Monday and hope your week is filled with joy & glamour!

This past weekend Michelle Phan and I attended a wedding in Dana Point! We both wore fairly simple one piece dresses but we jazzed up our looks with these bold clutches! Feathers and studs…what a beautiful combination! Her clutch is from ASOS and mine is from Jimmy Choo!

I was so hungry, in between the ceremony & reception, that I was ready to eat my Jimmy Choo alive! Choos for Dinner, Anyone?

Michelle was wearing a beautiful cape dress from zara and a bold statement necklace from H&M. I was wearing a one shouldered dress from H&M. I always say stick with simple pieces that drapes nicely over your body and get creative with your accessories!
RULE OF THUMB- When wearing a simple outfit always have one thing that really POPS! In this case I was wearing my glittery disco ball Jimmy Choo shoes (unfortunately my camera died before I was able to take a pix of them!) that really made this look like a million bucks! Michelle on the other hand made a statement with her bold metallic necklace!
At the end of the night we were exhausted from dancing the night away!

First off I apologize for the lack of updates..it’s been…well….crazy would be an understatement.
And the past couple of days has been a tumble of madness with endless amounts of work. Although I love my work I feel like a well-deserved break is appropriate right about now. From styling the former president of Mexico Vicente Fox and his wife for GENLUX magazine to a campaign shoot for a client to filming 2 new tutorials with Michelle Phan. I can now officially say its been quite a July! and now the anticipation starts for all the adventures of August.
These perfectly pink salmon pants were my purchase of the week! I found them for $30 at a random boutique on Melrose while shopping for a client! Such a steal!!!

Heres a little peepshow on what Michelle Phan & I worked on this past weekend. We will be releasing this tutorial later on this week…It was probably the most creative & fun tutorial i have worked on by far!
Can you guys take a guess what it will be about?

After an impossibly busy week Michelle and I took some time off last night to catch a breath and unwind to some ahhh-mazing food, wine, and tons of laughter at my fave restaurant in downtown Church & State.
MICHELLE’S OUTFIT- I adored her look last night! chic chic chic was written all over her! She was wearing highwaisted leather shorts with a perfectly loose silk blouse…very sophisticated & chic! Her leopard print stilettos and oversized blue envelope clutch (love the metal detailing) was just the right amount of accents!
MY OUTFIT- When wearing colors from head to toe I try to keep it all in the same color family. For example: peach top, fuschia skirt, burgandy shoes (all in the pink/red family).
Blouse- Rachel Roy, Top- vintage, skirt- zara, shoe- alexander wang, Purse- Hermes, earrings- vintage dior, sunglasses- House of harlow
An overflowing feeling of excitement on all the new projects we are working on..someone needs to pinch me…am i dreaming or is this real?
Hope its beautiful where you are!

Chriselle
Summer is officially in full bloom …and you know what that means! It means Being Whisked Away in flowing chiffon dresses & short shorts! Spent the day yesterday with Michelle Phan in Palm Springs shooting something very very special. Special as in my very first youtube video…we will officially be launching my fashion channel!
Heres a little preview on one of the looks. Can you guys take a guess what it is about???

I’ve always been a steadfast believer in the notion that it’s always better to be over-dressed than under. Red & green reminds us of christmas, black & orange reminds us of Halloween, and when I see red leather I think of leopard. (Don’t ask why..I just do!) Paired up this impossibly cool red boyfriend blazer with my red leather mini. Red on Red is quite a bold fashion statement …make sure you break up all the redness in between with a neutral color belt or a strong pattern (such as leopard).
Will be filming a fun tutorial today out in Palm Spring with Michelle Phan…oh boy are we ready to burn. Heard it will be 107 degrees out there! Wish us luck! Have a lovely day darlins’
