Street Chic In the city

{BCBG dress, H&M belt, ALC Jacket, Celine Purse, Lanvin shoes}

and how it is day 5 of Fashion Week already….. its been nothing but pure madness these past 5 days in New York has been simply amazing. Running from show to shows, catching meetings in between, nonstop filming for the FAWN network, then straight to dinner meetings. I can happily say that my trip is coming to an end today, and i’ll be on a flight back to LA tonight after a few more shows during the day! Usually during fashion week i’m way too busy to get outfit shots to blog about, but I was lucky enough this time around to have been shot by street photographers,  between shows as I was walking to and from the Lincoln center. A big thank you you to Style & The City, Guerre of Marie Claire, Mr. Newton of Harper’s Bazaar. I was also excited to see myself on the front page of Harper’s Bazaar & Marie Claire the other morning! It was one of my favorite outfits I wore this past week. Wearing a Givenchy dress, no named tweed jacket, and celine purse. Hope you all have a lovely monday!! See you guys back in LA!

Today we traveled  5 hours up the mountain to arrive at the beautiful Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan. I cannot tell you how ecstatic I am to be spending the next couple of days here at the LaLu Resort & Hotel…one of the most beautiful & exquisite hotels in the world! Our view over here is to die for …Will be updating you with pictures of my stay here in the next blog post!! Also will be uploading the New Years Eve countdown tutorial tomorrow too!!! Lots of goodies in store for you! For now here’s the rest of the outfit from yesterday’s post! Not sure if you’ve noticed but i’ve been obsessing with the burnt color-burnt rose, burnt orange, burnt red, hence- the burnt bench in the background! hahah Hope it’s beautiful where you are!

Nostalgic From Seoul

Photography by Christine Chang

{Kaelen pleated skirt, Manning Cartell jacket (as seen here), Wren sweater (as seen here) , Lanvin booties, Alaia belt, Oliver’s People’s sunglasses, Rebecca Minkoff purse- All pieces available at Satine Boutique}

These images were obviously taken (in sunny cali) before I came out to Seoul, FREEZING, Korea! It’s been 5 years since i’ve been back and I’m beyond ecstatic to be here! I guess it would be accurate to say that i’ve been quite nostalgic since i’ve arrived here this morning! I spent majority of my elementary & grade school days growing up here in Korea, so it’s really nice to be back to rekindle my love for this country! ok ok, enough on being nostalgic…can we talk  for a minute on how FUHHHHHH-REEEZING  it is out here? Recently ive been receiving tons of requests on “How to look chic in the freezing cold without looking frumpy.” I guess those requests came right in time since i’ll be standing to that test this week! Didn’t realize how blessed we were out in LA with perfect weather 99% of the time…perfect as in being able to pair my fave booties with a short mini + a  lightweight sweater type of weather. Will be uploading a new Christmas tutorial this week + major updates from my twitter + facebook from seoul, Korea! Hope its lovely & warm(er) where you are! Love, Chriselle

Basic But Not So Basic

Photography by- Christine Chang

{Cut25 blazer, Cut25 dress, Lanvin shoes, Lanvin clutch, Dominic jones & CBD By Charlotte Bjorlin D’ella rings}

{All pieces available at Satine Boutique}

Recently i’ve been drawn to busier pieces with striking prints & colors, but I can’t deny that when I laid my hands on this black and white blazer  my heart fluttered. The perfect leather lining + quilted arm patch on the blazer, and not to mention this impossibly perfect dress with billowy chiffon sleeves paired with delicate pleats! Black and white might be basic but there’s nothing so basic about this outfit, don’t you agree? The details on these two pieces are simply impeccable! Cannot believe that in just 3 days I will be heading out to the motherland- Seoul, Korea! I’ve heard from a few people that its beyond freezing out there, and im quite sure I wont be able to pull off these california leg baring outfits without freezing my tush off! So this weekend i’ll be shopping for some winter wonderland musthaves! Will be in search for a thick yet still chic parka/anorak + thick cable knitted sweaters + thermals + rain/snow boots! HAPPY FRIDAY loves! I hope you have an impossibly lovely weekend!!

Love,

Chriselle
