I get to discover so many new and amazing products thanks to my job.
But beyond makeup and skin care, there are so many other beauty products out there that no one talks about… Are they just not glamorous enough? Are we afraid to talk about them? Between simple necessities like deodorant to stuff you never knew you needed like ingrown hair serum – today, we’re putting it all on the table and having real talk.
Keep scrolling to read my picks for the beauty products no one talks about:
Stubble Cream
We’ve all been there before. You’re in a hurry and you quickly run over your legs, armpits, or down there with your razor only to be left with those nasty razor bumps. So what now? I always grab this Stubble Cream from Fur. It’s super soothing, smells amazing, looks chic on the vanity and helps get rid of those pesky razor bumps AND prevent future ingrown hairs and irritation from happening. It’s kind of like a men’s aftershave but better! I use it almost as a spot treatment when I feel like my skin could use a little extra love.
Feminine Wash
Okay, let’s get intimate. REAL intimate. There’s a lot of controversy about using feminine washes so I decided to do a little research. You should know a couple of things. First, the vagina is self-cleaning, so douching is not the way to go. Second, the way you smell ~down there~ is totally normal. Third, if you’re going to use any washes, they should only be going on your labia (the outside part) only.
Okay, with that said, I’ve tested out the Rael Natural Feminine Cleansing Wash a few times and I really like it! It’s very gentle and helps refresh your lady parts which is great considering how hot it’s been in LA. To be totally honest, if you’re still skeptical about using a feminine wash, just a mild soap and water also do the trick!
Ingrown Hair Oil
It’s usually no big deal, but a few days after shaving you’re sometimes met with the worst thing that could happen: an ingrown hair… DOWN THERE. It’s painful, unsightly and just plain annoying. It happens to the best of us, but we don’t need to suffer any longer. Enter: the Ingrown Concentrate from Fur.
You might remember me talking about their Fur Oil in this post here, so I knew I would love their latest concentrate. It comes with a gentle exfoliating mitt and helps soothe your skin and support healing. It’s made with coconut oil and chamomile extract; which help heal, soothe and have anti-inflammatory properties.
Feminine Wipes
So kind of on the same wave-length as a feminine wash, feminine wipe fall under the same rules. (You smell fine, you’re vag is good and if you’re gonna do it: labia only.) The CINCteam and I tested out two different feminine wipes over the past month or so, the Deowipes Intimate and the Rael Feminine Wipes. We all had the same thoughts:
- Great for travel- especially when you’re camping and can’t really shower but still want to feel really clean.
- A nice way to refresh when it’s your time of the month.
- Wouldn’t do it every day.
- Also @single ladies- you just never know when you’ll need to freshen up!
Do you have any secret weapon products that you never talk about because you think it’s taboo? Let’s have a conversation about it and leave me a comment below!

It’s great to see a post on these products. You’re right that while many do use them, they are so rarely mentioned.

Right? Thanks Kathrin! xo
I actually don’t! I’ve been searching for more organic products to use because my skin is really sensitive. I don’t have ingrown hairs as much as I used to but they can still be a little pesky so I’m glad you included an oil on this list!
It’s fantastic! So glad this post helped, Jasmine! xo
