Happy Saturday and Happy Day 9 of the 12 Days of CHRIS-elle! Today, I wanted to highlight someone who’s not only bringing some good into the community but also happens to be one of my very good friends- Aimee Song of Song of Style!
When people think of LA style, no one fits it better than Aimee! She’s got that quintessential effortless LA style that everyone loves and is the ultimate cool girl with the ultimate cool girl clothing line. Aimee and her sister Dani have a line called Two Songs together and it has the cutest (and softest) tees and sweaters. I love her and I love her line so much, which was why I was so excited to bring her on for 12 Days of CHRIS-elle this year!
Along with Two Songs’ super cool ‘Tits Out’ shirt, I wanted to highlight a very important message of this particular shirt. In a world and industry full of competition, it’s so easy to compare yourself to others- but at the end of the day it’s all about finding and surrounding yourself with people who inspire you and help you grow! Aimee and I have known each other since we started blogging ( about 10 years ago), and watching her flourish into a mega girl boss taking on politics and social issues is amazing and inspiring.
Out of Two Songs’ collection full of super cool tees and sweatshirts with fun slogans and designs, I was so inspired by this one especially! With everything that’s happened and is happening this year, it’s amazing to see women everywhere taking a stand and demanding to be seen, heard and treated equally. To me, this shirt is a representation of femininity and self-expression.
So whether it be to embracing yourself, your body, supporting other girls, or all of the above… I hope that this post encourages you to do just that today and every day. (PS: 50% of the proceeds of this shirt goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!) Be sure to comment on all of the 12 Days posts to win one of these shirts and some more amazing prizes!

Amen to your post Sister!! I’m so excited for family time! We are always so busy that we force ourselves to stop and relax with family during the holidays.
Seriously love clothing pieces that give back to the community. I also love this bad ass tee!
Can’t wait for GIFTS EXCHANGE! Though it’s a tedious process to vet out what the person like or dislike. But, the fun is always greater than the tiredness. I loved how the receiver reacts when he or she opens up the present. Especially if I’m the secret Santa, even better! Of course, I love to guess and open the presents that’s for myself too.
SO looking forward to down time and time to relax!

I look forward to the cold weather and sleeping in and binge watching on all the Christmas movie for this holiday season.
Family time is what I look forward to the most! As I get older, it gets harder to bring the whole family together. Holidays are perfect time to spend time with the loved ones the whole day ❤️
I’m in love with this season and all the holiday cheer, warmth and gatherings.
I LOVE Aimee!
And the thing I am looking forward to the most this holiday season is giving gifts in a meaningful way. I decided to give gits of donations to all my friends and family, supporting women’s rights, animal rights, and environmental protection. After this year of issues, I’m hoping to make some changes.
Hm something I look forward to the most is just happiness and seeing everyone happy! I’m from NYC and although I love seeing people’s mean mugs on the strets (I truly do, not sarcasm!), there’s something about the holidays that makes not only the city light up but also the people! It’s so beautiful.
xoxo
I look forward to seeing my family and of course no school!!

Hi Chriselle!
The thing I look forward most to during the holidays are the holiday parties. This forces everyone to dress up (myself included) , take body and mind away from work and get together to drink, eat and be merry!
x
I think the holidays are a good time of the year. It puts everyone in a good mood and especially on New Years everyone is motivated to start the new year fresh and do their best to make their new years resolution come true!
Christmas music!!! Been waiting forever!
Looking forward to a new 2018 full of wonderful opportunities where I allow my dreams to become a reality. Yes, I need courage, but your TEAM and your posts are always an amazing encouragement…
XoXo,
Alicia
The thing I’m looking forward the most every Christmas holiday is the built up of the Christmas Spirit and decorations in the streets! They make me so happy and I think it’s just beautiful every year!
As a Catholic I look forward to the birth of Jesus. I really love the church when it is decked out in Christmas decorations. The serenity and peace I feel when it that space is priceless!
I am studying to go into fashion production and it’s definitely full of competition! Not only do I compare yourself to others, but we are often compared to by others too, so much that it unfortunately becomes the norm… The biggest shoutout to my mum who have supported me all the way (even though she pretends she doesn’t) and my sister who is critical of all that I do when I’m there but actually is the complete opposite and is really encouraging when I am down. My university tutor who gave me a chance in fashion even though I don’t technically have the qualifications to be part of this course and my classmateys that have dealt with my incessant questions and have pulled my lifeboat along the year. I am so thankful for everything and it is ultimately all those that are close to me that have been inspiring my work and have really nurtured my growth. Last but not least, my gran, without whom I would be stuck in another career path and lamenting why I didn’t change course into the arts. She was the one that stood up for me and had my back when I was at my lowest. Her unconditional support, being my fit model when I first started fashion, our fashion museum excursions. Lots of love all around xx
I’m looking forward for our small and Cosy family dinner ⛄️
I’m looking forward to watching tons of old movies with my family, eating grandma’s dolma, building a castle from snow with my little brother…
Reading a good book, working on my own, going on long walks in the cold and I can´t wait to work on my stop-motion-video-skills!
Love, Léa
I am looking forward to spending time with my beloved ones and to really get into a festive and merry spirit. I love this time of the year and I love to prepare a nice holiday dinner and/or brunch for friends. To get together with the people who inspire and encourage me to be the woman I am makes me really happy.
Lots of love and festive spirit from freezing Germany. <3

Eggnog and seeing my family!!! Ohh and resting and relaxing!!!
Just the collective spirit of the holidays and everything that puts you in the spirit—shopping, cool weather, hot cocoa, the smells of Christmas, the movies, treats, etc…
Having a holiday, going to New Year market, meeting with friends, playing snowballs, having family and friends around…are what I am looking for 🙂
I look forward to spending quality time with my boyfriend! We’re both in school and work so we don’t always have time to see each other!
My surprise ski trip for my boyfriend!
Fav. time to see the extended family! It’s the one time when everyone is together!
My mum just found out she had breast cancer a few months ago. She found out a hard lump suddenly one night after visiting my granny. It was painful and after tested, it’s malignant. My granny was so sick and passed away in a short 2-week period of time. My mum was going to retire a month later. Everything was happening so fast and so soon! I realised we keep hearing people around us having breast cancer but it is so much different when someone really close to us has it. It’s like lighting strike to my head. So I am glad the awareness of breast cancer is getting wider and more women get to know about self-check and the signs and symptoms better! This few weeks not only I have spent more time with my family especially my grandpa who is almost 90 yo, and mostly my mum! Giving her the moral support she needs, preparing her mentally and psychologically to fight cancer, & side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
What I’m looking forward to the most is to spend time with the famz and to eat all of my mother in laws cooking 😋
Christmas Eve family gathering.

I look the most forward to finally having some rest from my hectic studying schedule at the uni and to spend time with my family and friends and get tons of hugs from my dog 😀
Xoxo
Honestly, I don’t really look forward to anything during the holiday season. I’m so used to spending holidays alone. You mentioned that you would skip class to work more hours at your job. I did that PLUS I didn’t go home for holidays in college because I got paid extra to work on those days. I was a desk receptionist of dormitories and honestly those were the best days to work! Those were the quiet days. After college, I was in korea. I didn’t have to work on Christmas but I did have to work on New Years. Now I’m home and my family doesn’t do anything special except cook a big dinner that I can’t eat because i’m Vegetarian. And I personally hate cooking myself. So holidays have not been anything special to me during my adult life. Christmas was my favorite day as a child, now as an adult, I don’t have a favorite holiday. Everyday is just a normal day for me.
Definitely looking forward to be with my family!! 💛
I look forward to seeing family and friends, and eating the amazing food made by my mum. Xx #12daysgiveaway
I’m looking forward to spend time my parents! They live in Texas whereas I currently live in New York so it’d be great to get away from the busy life and spend time with my parents
I look forward to pass some quality time with those I love.
I look forward to binging on holiday movies and food with the family and having ZERO regrets about it!

Your last post for 12 days of Chriselle really struck a chord with me. I’ve always been the type of person to have dreams as big as my mind could fathom yet these last few years I’ve felt so defeated and those dreams of mine somehow became just that… Dreams. I know it may seem silly but I feel like winning this computer would be the jumpstart I need to believe in myself again and know that anything I set my mind to is attainable, not just some wish. So I can get this show on the road as they say.
Every year end we would go on a long family vacation. That’s what I love most about the holiday season as it’s time we all get together and spend quality tims. #12DaysGiveaway
I look forward to having a couple days off and only spending them with my family and my newest family member, my cat. It’ll be a time to completely unwind, relax and stuff myself with all the delicious food.

Oh I’m not answering the question yet, I’m looking forward to feel home away from home since this is my new home now with my husband, my step kids, our dogs and cat. It’s gonna be a great finale for the year. ❤️
Honestly what I look forward to most this holiday season is taking time off of work to refresh, recuperate, and spend time with loved ones. It has been so busy with work lately that I forget sometimes to take the time that I need to refresh and recharge myself. I look forward to having the time to clean, Organize my house, and find clothes to donate so that when it comes to next year I can have a fresh clean start both in my house and in my mind.
I can’t wait to find out my results from university entry exam and finally feel free! I live in Australia so Christmas during summer here. I can’t wait till go to the beach with friends, get some fish and chips then get a good tan!❤️

I look forward to my two weeks of vacation from work during the holidays! So fortunate to work at a school and always having that 2 week winter break.
The thing that I look forward to the most is time with my son and my whole family. Since he is no longer a little guy it’s harder to get quality time with him, so this is a special time that we share together decorating the Christmas tree, watching movies, and hanging out.
Hugs,
Tania

I usually LOVE there holiday seasons because it means seeing family we don’t really get to see often. This year however, it’s Winter snow!! First time in 30+ years I’m celebrating Christmas with real snow!! ❄❄
What I look forward to the most during the holidays is GIFT EXCHANGE, specifically GIFT WRAPPING! I’m obsessed with holiday wrapping paper, goodie bags, bows, glitter, cards, and other holiday paraphanalia. I love a well-wrapped gift more than the gift itself and I’ll spend hours at paper source just looking through all the great holiday decorations and wrapping papers.
I look forward to the minutes just before Christmas Day the most. There’s something special about the quietness with the twinkling lights from the Christmas Tree. And being so present with your loved ones cosied in bed / the couch beside you. Waiting, just waiting for the clock to strike 12 to Christmas Day.
I look forward to spending time with my grandma! Due to college, I am in a different state and so that makes it difficult to spend time with her unless it is over break.
I’m looking forward to some time off and quality time with family

Definitely the Christmas Eve dinner! 🍝
I love this! My mom fought and beat breast cancer. It’s truly amazing how far the research and development have come for breast cancer. I’ve said this already but what I look forward to every year during the holidays is our annual Kris Kringle with the girls which is basically like a secret Santa among friends and our family gathering. We all live far away from each other now so it’s a blessing when we are all together for the holidays. The girls all have babies of their own now and we just started doing a Kris Kringle for the babies now! My sister hosts Christmas at her house every year and her and my brother in law always makes the best meal! She’s super extra so she brings out all her china and linens to make us wash it all after. lol
I look forward to the family time that we get to enjoy together. Watching home alone and other holiday classics, enjoying delicious turkey dinners and heading out to the closest ski hills to us and snowboarding with the family.
I always love traditions and spending time with my family I’m expecting a baby any day now so this year will be different but I’m still trying to hold on to as many traditions as I can!
I love everything about the holidays, but I love it all because because of the decorations and people are just so happy and willing to give. I always feel like more smiles are given to people on the streets and there is just more generosity overall.
I look forward to spending time with family and friends during the holidays.
I live in NYC, so EVERY year I look forward to all the amazing decorations in the city. The giant snowflake on 5th ave, the displays at Saks, the tree at Rockefeller, crystal stars at columbus circle, and I could go on and on!

In this tech-y age it is so hard to stay true to yourself and be content with yourself. I am kind of happy I am not in high school for this generation because it was hard enough without Instagram and Twitter!

AS cliche as it sounds, this holiday season, I’m looking forward to spending time with my sister. Obviously growing up, I took my sister for granted. But when she went to college, I realized how much I really valued our time together. I realized that our time together was getting shorter, as she started her adult life while I started mine. So now when I see her, I try to make the most memories and be the most loving older sister (which I’m still working on because I LOVE teasing her). HAHA
I’m so looking forward to all Christmas parties and debility to go back home with my friends and family. I really need a Christmas morning marathon and to bake cookies with my mom and sisters.
During the holiday season, I really look forward to spending quality time with family — but I also LOVE going shopping to see all of the unique Christmas displays and lighting fixtures that each store puts so much effort into! It’s impossible not to appreciate all the beautifully thought out displays.
I look forward to seeing my family open their presents, going boxing day sales shopping and just taking photos 😝 (thankful for my insta boyfriend hahaha)
I look forward to the Christmas music, which always feels so festive and warms my heart. I love walking through the streets and seeing the twinkling lights and hearing carols!
I look forward to some serious RnR with family! It’s the best time to wind down, reflect, share stories, and end the year with love.
Wishing for a break from school! Good rest, to replenish myself for the new year and of course “la familia”!
