Styling Graphic Tees in Your 20s vs 30s

Since you all loved my last collab post with Hannah (check it out here!), we wanted to share another 20’s vs 30’s post. This time, it’s all about the graphic tees. Once a total fashion faux pas, the graphic tee is now a total fashion girl must have. They look great with a pair of jeans, but how do you take a graphic tee to the next level? Here’s how Hannah and I styled ours:

T-Shirt: Gothic Mochas (Similar Here) | Trousers: Proenza Schouler | Mules: Celine (Similar Here)

When I’m looking at graphic tees, I like to go for a more masculine fit: crew neck, kind of oversized and boxy. Sometimes I even get men’s shirts! The one I’m wearing here was perfect to tuck into a cool pair of trousers (check them out here). Though these trousers can be dressed up or down, I love how they look with such a casual t-shirt. Since I’m in my 30’s I feel like graphic tees can look almost sloppy on me if I don’t wear them right, so giving the look a little bit of structure with the trousers is the perfect solution!

Hey guys, it’s Hannah jumping on! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I wear a lot of graphic t-shirts- they’re easy to throw on, super chic, and look good with just about anything. Though I wear them to work a lot, I’ve recently been wearing them when I go out. They’re a lot less fussy, and I’m so much more comfortable in a t-shirt than I would be in a crop top! My go-to graphic tee outfit is to throw on a leather skirt. It dresses up the graphic tee and gives it a cool-girl edge. I’ll usually rock a pair of flats (like the ones I’m wearing above) or even tennis shoes to finish off the outfit!

So if you’re in your 20’s like Hannah or in your 30’s like me- there are so many styling possibilities with a simple graphic t-shirt, so don’t be afraid to experiment! Are there any other trends you want Hannah and I to style for when you’re in your 20’s vs 30’s? Let me know down below and have a great day!
