Haircare Holy Grail

Over the past few years, my hair has gone through a lot. Long hair, short hair, bobs, lobs, red, blonde, highlights, lowlights- you name it, I’ve probably tried it! But no matter what I end up doing with my hair, I really do try my absolute best to take care of it. You guys have already seen my Skincare Holy Grail products, but keep scrolling to discover my Haircare Holy Grail! These are the products I absolutely swear by keep my hair strong, shiny and healthy.

Microfiber Hair Towel

Okay, you’ve probably heard this before, but if you haven’t jumped on the microfiber hair towel bandwagon yet, it’s time to get on it! Drying my hair with a microfiber towel has totally changed the game. It drys my long hair faster, helps control my frizz and keeps my hair strong and shiny. Since it rolls up so small, it’s also a great item to take when traveling! After I shower, I like to put my hair up in the towel, throw on a sheet mask and answer some emails- maximum productivity!  Did you expect anything less from me? 😉

Hair Oil

Hair oil seems really counterproductive, I know. Why would you want to ADD oil to your hair? As you guys know, I have really coarse thick hair, and it tends to get pretty dry. That’s where hair oil comes in! After my hair is damp, I add a few drops of oil into the palms of my hands to warm it up and work into my ends helps hydrate and add a silky shiny texture! I usually put the hair oil in right after I jump out of the shower. It’s also great to calm frizz and repair split/dead ends since the ends of your hairs are usually the most dry.

Travel Hair Oil

For some reason when I’m traveling and off my normal routine, my hair gets a little crazy. Between odd sleeping patterns, lots of different hairstyles and more curling irons or flat irons- my mane ends up with the short end of the stick. That’s why it’s so important for me to travel with hair oil too! I love this one by Ouai because it works (and smells) great, and I feel more confident traveling with a plastic bottle over a glass bottle (you never know)! You can also use this as a body oil if needed. You know I always love an oil that can do both!

Leave-In-Conditioner

Once upon a time, I didn’t really see the purpose of a leave-in-conditioner, but this baby by Honest Beauty is ridiculously amazing. It helps detangle, hydrate and has tons of amazing ingredients that start help your hair the second you put the product in. The coolest part is that you literally spray it in, comb it through and let the product take it from there. If you don’t get a chance to do hair masks that often, I would seriously recommend picking this product up! It makes a huge difference!

Hair Rinse

You guys might remember this product from this post here, and I can honestly say I’ve been using (and loving) it ever since. It has seriously transformed the texture of my hair, making it so much softer and shinier! A hair rinse is basically a cleanser and conditioner all-in-one, and I use it one to two times a week in lieu of a regular shampoo. All you do is work it into your hair and scalp, leave it in for a few minutes and rinse it out! Your hair feels like SILK after and is not dry from over-shampooing.

Charcoal Shampoo

So when I don’t use the ACV Hair Rinse, I use this charcoal shampoo by DrybarJust like what a charcoal mask would do for you, (ps: this one here is great!) the activated charcoal removes impurities and helps product buildup without stripping your hair of all the good stuff. It leaves my hair feeling super clean and hydrated. If you’re the kind of person who puts a lot of product in your hair, this is great for really getting a deep clean and getting that gunk out of there!

Vitamins

I didn’t fully embrace taking vitamins regularly until I got pregnant with Chloe. Then, I was ALL about it. One of the vitamins I consistently take now is biotinIt helps keep my hair and nails growing in strong. Considering how much torture I put my hair and nails through, the least I can do is take care of them from the inside out! (I also take B12 and Vitamin C!)

There you have it! My Haircare Holy Grail aka how I maintain shine on this mane. Do you guys have any hair tips or products you love? Let me know in the comments below and have a fantastic day!
