3 Hairstyles to Help You Embrace Your Frizz

I feel like there should be a support group for frizzy hair. Sometimes, no matter what I do- I just can’t get rid of that frizz! I’m lucky enough to not live in a very humid part of the world, but this year, I’ve decided to really embrace my frizz. Finding ways to work with it, and not work against it, has completely changed my outlook on my hair. So keep scrolling to see 3 hairstyles to help you embrace your frizz!

A go-to for me right now (and a lot of the girls on the CINCteam) is a low pony tail. I usually part my hair in the middle and run my fingers through it with some styling paste (like this) to tame some of the frizz. Then, I tie it back at the nape of my neck with a few strands out to frame my face. It takes me no time at all and looks super chic!

Embracing your frizz is all about making your hair texture work for you. When my hair gets frizzy, it pretty much poofs up into a giant ball. Not cute. So on the occasion where I want to wear my hair down, I use this spray to help tame my locks into a gorgeous voluminous mane. It’s all the body with none of the frizz!

Ah, the top knot. If only it knew how much it means to me! When you’re not feeling the pony or the voluminous mane, a top knot is always the answer. It keeps your hair up and out of your face and looks oh-so-chic. Whenever I do a topknot, I always treat my hair with a little hair oil (I’m loving this one right now) to smooth it out and add some shine. Then up it goes! To add texture, I’ll usually pull out a few strands to frame up my face a little bit. A couple of bobby-pins to secure it and I’m good to go!

It’s all about embracing your special individualized hair you were born with! What are your feelings on hair frizz?  Let me know in the comments below!
