Flattering Swimsuits for Every Body Type

Everyone has insecurities about their body, especially around swimsuit season (and yes, myself included). Going to the beach or the pool wearing next-to-nothing doesn’t really help with those insecurities! Sadly, embracing your body and loving it from head to toe isn’t something that can happen overnight but we all know that when you look good, you feel good. Am I right?

I put back on my stylist hat (did you guys know my past life was as a full-on stylist? I absolutely loved it!) and pulled some of my favorite swimsuits to flatter every body type. I hope you guys enjoy this because I put in WORK looking for awesome swimsuits for you guys!

If… You’re Straight Up & Down

No curves? No problem. If you have more of a boyish figure, try wearing suits that have chic cutouts and patterns that help give the illusion of an hourglass silhouette.

If… Your Problem Area is Your Tummy

A lot of the population gains weight in their tummy, including me! After having Chloe, I wanted nothing more than to hide my tummy. It’s the hardest place to work off! One piece suits (besides being super chic, trendy and sexy) are a great way to hold everything in. Similarly, high-waisted bottoms helped control my tummy.

If… You’ve Got A Smaller Bust

Finding suits that have fun ruffles or more detailing going on up top can help visually balance you out, giving the appearance of a bigger or fuller bust! I love these sets and the CINC girls here that are more on the smaller bust side gave me their approval!

If… You’ve Got A Bigger Bust

If your girls are a little bigger than most, you’ll need some support! Halter and underwire tops are the best for showing off your assets while keeping everything where it needs to be 😉

If… You’re Curvy

My two rules for finding a suit for a curvy figure is 1) support- thicker straps and underwire and 2) ruching- which is basically the gathering of fabric to create the desired shape. Plus, a sexy suit with a fun print and lace-up detail is a total win.

And like I’ve said before, everybody and every body is beautiful. And if you like something, WEAR IT, ROCK IT AND FLAUNT IT.
