How to Wear Multiple Trends All at Once

Every season, there are a few trends that I just can’t seem to get enough of. This year, it was all about gingham, denim skirts, off the shoulder tops, wicker accessories and ‘90’s inspired sunglasses. If you guys know me, you know that I like to keep my looks on more of the classic side as opposed to being trendy, but with pieces as good as these, I just couldn’t help myself! Keep scrolling to discover my tips on how to wear multiple trends at once for a full look:

1. Pick a Hero Piece
Having a hero piece, like this gingham top helps anchor your look as opposed to looking like you got dressed in the dark. Plus, the bright red color screams summer while making a chic statement at the same time.  The off-the-shoulder silhouette is super flattering.

2. Stick Within a Color Palette
For this look, I stuck to red, white and denim. I used my top as my pop of color and kept everything else neutral! This rule works for your accessories too. I know you’re not “supposed” to match your shoes to your bag- but by keeping them both white, it helps to visually streamline my look. Plus, these mules and this bag have been my total go-to’s recently! Can you blame me? Lol!

3. Know What Works For You
Confidence is key. If you like it, wear it and rock it! For me, especially during Fashion Weeks, I sometimes wear looks that are slightly outside of my everyday comfort zone, but trust me – people respond and are drawn to confidence!  So, if you’re feeling it, everyone else will too!
