My Week with Dior

You know it’s going to be a good… scratch that… great week when you get to spend it with Dior. Last week, I was able to attend the absolutely gorgeous Dior Dinner and Cruise Show in LA. The dinner took place on the beach in Malibu and everything was beyond picture perfect. I wore this gorgeous grey pencil skirt (see it here) with this amazing backless blouse and of course, topped off my look with a glass of champagne to toast to their new resort collection! It was so amazing to sip some bubbly and watch the waves crash on the shore while hanging out with some of my friends that flew all the way around the world to be in Los Angeles. It’s always exciting to see some of your closest fashion friends in your hometown as that rarely happens.

The following day was the big one: the Dior Sauvage Cruise Show in Calabasas. It was a hike and a half to get to the actual runway, but it was so worth it! The venue was amazing: there were dozens of enormous tents set up in a large clearing surrounding the runway and a hot air balloon in the distance. It all kind of felt like a fairytale! I got to the runway around golden hour right aka right when the sun was setting, which proved to be the perfect backdrop for my asymmetrical trench dress.

The collection itself was breathtaking! With nods to more western styles, tons of luxe textures and gorgeous embroidery all wrapped up into classic silhouettes that were topped with some of the coolest hats I’ve ever seen, the whole show felt magical and I really loved that it was in LA.

That night, I fell asleep that night dreaming of Dior! What did you guys think of the Cruise Collection? I’d love to hear your thoughts, so leave a comment in the comment box below! And be sure to follow along with my Cannes adventures on Instagram!

PS! If you haven’t signed up yet, make sure to sign up to be part of the #FACTORFAM! We’ve been working on this for the past 6 months and can’t wait to share exclusive content with you guys! It’s SO good!
